The Special Event "The Weapon Within" begins at 12:00 PM on Jan. 8 (PST)! In this event, players can complete exclusive stories and quests to earn rewards. Additionally, you can obtain items such as the 4-Star Weapon "Ax-Bison 91" and Dimensional Crystals in the limited-time "Interlude Note" Shop.
Reward Claim and Shop Duration

The deadline to claim rewards and for the limited-time shop is 11:59 AM on Feb. 7 (PST). This is one week longer than the event duration.
What to Do in the Special Event

We have included Soshiro (Ax Technique Proficiency), who deals Additional Damage and can easily benefit from stage effects. For the Attacker, we selected Soshiro (United Front). In Challenge 1, enemies appear in groups of three, and from Wave 2 onward, midsized enemies also appear, so you should include one character capable of attacking multiple targets.
| Tip! | Since the stage effects enhance Additional Damage, if you do not have Soshiro (Ax Technique Proficiency), including characters who deal Additional Damage, such as Reno (The Compatible User), is also a viable option. |

For Challenge 2, we also include the optimal Soshiro (Ax Technique Proficiency), who utilizes Additional Damage. For the Attacker, we've chosen Soshiro (Hoshina-Style Sword-Slay Technique), who possesses a Slash AoE Attack and matches the stage effects well. In Challenge 2, miniature enemies appear in groups of five, so it is recommended to include one character with an AoE Attack.

Utilize Stage Effects
In Challenges 1 and 2, stage effects will activate. The current stage effects are highly compatible with Soshiro (Ax Technique Proficiency), so it is recommended to use him in your Squad to clear the stages. Additionally, the effects are a good match for Soshiro (Hoshina-Style Sword-Slay Technique), who has a Slash AoE Attack.
Build a Team with Additional Damage Characters
Due to the Challenge stage effects, Additional Damage is buffed. Therefore, it is recommended to form a team with characters that can inflict Additional Damage, such as Soshiro (Ax Technique Proficiency), Reno (The Compatible User), and Isao Shinomiya (Prime Fist).
| Tip! | Also, using an AoE Attack can increase the Ultimate Gauge for all allies, so make sure to utilize skills when your team includes characters with AoE Attacks. |
Special Event Guide and Tips
Watch Out for Camponotus in Challenge 2
In Challenge 2, you must be careful of the summoning skill used by the "Camponotus Yoju" Kaiju that appear from Wave 2 onwards. Two Camponotus Yoju appear in Wave 2 and five in Wave 3, so you should aim to reduce their HP evenly to neutralize them simultaneously.
Pay Attention to the Enemy's Turn Order
There is a risk that if any Camponotus remain active, they will summon new enemies when their turn arrives. Pay close attention to the turn order, delay their actions by inflicting Core Exposed, and try to neutralize them all before they can summon reinforcements.
Get Characters to Lv. 100
The Kaiju in Challenge 1 and 2 are Lv. 100. If your characters are underleveled compared to the Kaiju, your DMG dealt decreases, and DMG taken increases. Level all characters used in the Challenge to Lv. 100.
Use a Defender
In Challenges 1 and 2, multiple Kaiju appear. Include one Defender like Kikoru (Full-Power Christmas) or 4-star Akari to protect allies from defeat.

How to Get Interlude Note [The Weapon Within]
First-Time Clear Rewards for Quests
You can obtain Interlude Note [The Weapon Within] from the first-time clear rewards of quests. A total of 900 Interlude Notes can be acquired from the first-time clear rewards of quests 1-9.
First-Time Clear Rewards for Challenges
You can also obtain Interlude Note [The Weapon Within] from the first-time clear rewards of challenges. A total of 800 Interlude Notes can be acquired from the first-time clear rewards for Challenges 1 and 2.
Complete Missions
You can get Interlude Note [The Weapon Within] by completing Daily missions and Event Missions. Note that Daily missions reset every day at 11:00 AM (PST), so make sure to claim your rewards before the reset.
Farm Quests
You can also collect Interlude Note [The Weapon Within] by repeatedly clearing quest stages. Higher difficulties yield more Interlude Notes, so it's recommended to farm Quest 9.

The 4-Star Axe “Ax-Bison 91” is available from the limited-time shop “Interlude Note”. You can obtain up to 5 copies, allowing you to fully Ascend it to A6. Since this is a limited-time weapon that cannot be obtained from the gacha, make sure to pick it up during the event period.
Get a New Home Screen Background
Clear Story #7 to receive the “Ax Technique Proficiency” Home Screen Background. After obtaining it, tap the “8” button at the bottom of the home screen to change your background.
