First Half Stage 12 Strategy Tips

First Half Tips

Enemies in the first half stage

  • Use Blunt, Shot, and Ice Characters
  • Use Characters with Multi-Target Attacks
  • Watch Out for the Midsized Enemy’s Ultimate

Use Blunt, Shot, and Ice Characters

The enemies in the first half of the stage have Blunt, Shot, and Ice Plates. Reno is ideal here, as he can break two of the enemy’s Plate types. If you have him, make sure to include him in your team.

Use Characters with Multi-Target Attacks

In the first half of Stage 12, two miniature enemies and one midsized enemy will appear. To gain an advantage, use characters with Blast Attacks or other multi-target abilities and try to inflict Core Exposed on all enemies at once.

Core Exposed Guide

Watch Out for the Midsized Enemy’s Ultimate

The medium-sized enemy that appears in the center, "Nesodactyl", is dangerous because its Ultimate is an AoE Attack that also inflicts Burn. It also has many Plates, so aim to efficiently cause Core Exposed and take measures such as delaying its actions.

Second Half Stage 12 Strategy Tips

Second Half Tips

Kaiju No. 8 The Game Dimensional Identified Kaiju No. 2

  • Use Slash, Shot, and Physical Characters
  • Watch Out for the Boss’s Ultimate
  • Break the Shield to Increase Damage Taken

Use Slash, Shot, and Physical Characters

The enemies in the second half of Stage 12 have Slash, Shot, and Physical Plates. The boss, "Dimensional Identified Kaiju No. 2", has many Plates: Slash x4 and Shot x5, so include characters who can easily break these Plates, such as Gen Narumi (Future Sight).

Reinforcement Priority Guide

Watch Out for the Boss’s Ultimate

The boss boosts its own damage, and its Ultimate is a powerful AoE Attack that can deal around 1,000 damage, so stay alert. To handle this, delay the boss’s actions using Core Exposed and aim for a quick Neutralization. If survivability is an issue, add Akari Minase to your team as a healer to recover HP before the Ultimate.

Break the Shield to Increase Damage Taken

When you break the Shield the boss applies, it becomes more vulnerable and enters a DMG Taken Increase state. Use high damage attacks like Ultimates right after breaking the Shield for maximum effect.

Star Objectives Can Be Completed Separately

You don't need to meet "win with 0 incapacitated allies" and "within the specified rounds" simultaneously. You can clear safely first with a defensive formation, then aim to reduce rounds with a damage-focused formation.

Strike of Coordination Strategy Tips

Take Advantage of Stage Effects

Kaiju No. 8 The Game Strike of Coordination Stage Effects

Stage Effects- After activating Extra Attack or causing a Kaiju to be Core Exposed, applies Shot DMG Dealt +150% (2 turn(s)) to the unit.
- After attacking, applies CRIT DMG +5% to the unit. Max 10 stack(s).
- Ultimate Gauge Charge Rate +20%.

In Strike of Coordination, stage effects are active. This time, the stage effects have strong synergy with Mina (Superb Combination) and Gen Narumi (Future Sight), so it’s recommended to include Mina (Superb) and Gen (Future) in your Squad to clear the stage more easily.

Tip!Characters with Shot Element skills also receive a DMG dealt increase from the stage effects.

Break Plates Efficiently

In the "Strike of Coordination" Fierce Battle Area 12, enemy Plates are Blunt, Shot, and Ice in the first half, and Slash, Shot, and Physical in the second half. Efficiently destroy Plates to inflict Core Exposed and gain an advantage in battle.

How To Destroy Enemy Plates

Level Characters to 90 or Higher

If your level is lower than the enemy’s, you’ll take increased damage, making it harder to meet the star condition of “Win with 0 incapacitated units.” In Stage 12, enemies are level 85 with high HP, so it’s recommended to challenge them with Lv. 90+ characters to maximize your damage output.
