First Half Stage 15 Strategy Tips

First Half Strategy

Kaiju No. 8 The Game Myxogasterocarp

  • Use Shot and Elemental Characters
  • Focus on the Boss
  • Watch Out for Poison Attacks

Use Shot and Elemental Characters

The enemies in the first half of Stage 15 have Shot and Elemental Plates. Reno, who can break two of the boss’s Plates, and Gen Narumi (Future Sight), who excels at breaking Plates, are both highly recommended.

How to Destroy Enemy Plates

Focus on the Boss

You’ll clear the stage by defeating the central boss, "Myxogasterocarp," so focus your attacks on it. Try to minimize the total number of rounds to meet the clear objectives.

Watch Out for Poison Attacks

The boss and its summoned Kaiju can inflict Poison, dealing DoT. It’s effective to bring Sagan, a Defender who can break Elemental Plates, or Akari Minase, who can heal allies. Keep an eye on your team’s survivability and aim to clear with no incapacitated units to meet the objective.

Star Conditions Don't Need to Be Met Simultaneously

You don't need to meet "0 incapacitated allies" and "within the specified rounds" simultaneously. You can clear safely first with a defensive formation, then aim to reduce rounds with a damage-focused formation.

Second Half Stage 15 Strategy Tips

Second Half Strategy

Kaiju A

  • Use Slash and Physical Characters
  • Beware of Attack and Plate Nullification
  • Watch Out for Blast and AoE Attacks

Use Slash and Physical Characters

The boss in the second half of Stage 15, "Dimensional Identified Kaiju A: Divided Entity," has Slash and Physical Plates. It has x6 Slash Plates, so include characters who can break Slash Plates to expose its Core.

Tip!The boss can stack up to 3 Form Changes, which changes its attack patterns, but all stacks are removed once its Core is exposed.

Beware of Attack and Plate Nullification

Kaiju No. 8 The Game Kaiju A Attack and Plate Nullification

The boss uses "Charging Stance" to nullify one incoming attack. When a Plate is crossed out as shown in the image, use a Normal Attack or a similar move to remove the nullification.

Watch Out for Blast and AoE Attacks

The boss frequently uses Blast and AoE attacks, so keep an eye on your team’s durability. If survival becomes difficult, include a Defender like Isao Shinomiya, who can protect allies with his Shield.

Strike of Coordination Strategy Tips

Take Advantage of Stage Effects

Kaiju No. 8 The Game Strike of Coordination Stage Effects

Stage Effects- After activating Extra Attack or causing a Kaiju to be Core Exposed, applies Shot DMG dealt +150% (2 turn(s)) to the unit.
- After attacking, applies CRIT DMG +5% to the unit. Max 10 stack(s).
- Ultimate Gauge Charge Rate +20%.

In "Strike of Coordination," stage effects will be active. These effects synergize well with Mina (Superb Combination) and Gen Narumi (Future Sight), making it highly recommended to include them in your squad for this stage.

Tip!Characters with Shot-type skills can also benefit from the stage effects, gaining increased DMG dealt.

Break Plates Efficiently

In the "Strike of Coordination" Fierce Battle Area 15, enemy Plates are Shot and Elemental in the first half, and Slash and Physical in the second half. Break each Plate efficiently to trigger Core Exposed and gain an advantage in battle.

Core Exposed Guide

Get Characters to Level 100

During battle, if your level is lower than the enemy's, you'll take increased damage, making it harder to achieve the "win with 0 incapacitated units" objective. In Stage 15, enemies are level 100 with high HP, so it’s best to challenge them with characters at Lv. 100 to maximize your damage output.
