How to Assign Partners in Chaos Zero Nightmare (CZN). See how to get Partners, how to assign, upgrade, promote, and the benefits of Partners in CZN.

What are Partners?

Can Be Equipped to Each Combatant

Partners are an upgrade element that can be equipped to your Combatants to increase their power.

How to Get Partners

• Obtain from the Gacha
• Obtain from Event rewards, such as the Rookie Captain Mission

Can Also Be Dismantled

Partners can be dismantled into Support Data, which is used to level them up. Prioritize dismantling your extra 3-star Partners for this purpose.

How to Assign Partners

Steps to Equip a Partner

1: Select the Combatant and Click "Partner"

First, go to the Combatant you wish to equip a Partner to. On their details screen, tap the "Partner" tab on the left.

2: Tap "Assign Partner" in the Center

Once in the Partner tab, tap the "Assign Partner" button located in the center of the screen.

3: Select a Partner and Tap "Assign"

Choose your desired Partner from the list and confirm by tapping the "Equip" button in the bottom-right corner.

Tips!	Assigning a Partner of the same Class as the Combatant will activate the Partner's passive ability.

How to Upgrade Partners

Level Up

Level up your Partners using Support Data and Units. This is the easiest way to increase their power.

Increase the Level Cap with Promotion

Partners have a level cap that can be raised through Promotion. This process also provides a permanent stat increase.

Unlock Promotion By Clearing Missions

To promote a Partner, you must first clear their specific Promotion Mission. These missions become available after you reach a certain point in the main combat missions and achieve a specific level.

Upgrade Manifest Ego

You can upgrade a Partner's Passive by obtaining duplicates to advance their Manifest Ego.

Four Duplicates Needed to Max

A total of four identical Partners are required to fully upgrade a Partner's Manifest Ego (max limit break).

Benefits of Equipping a Partner

Boosts Combatant Stats

Assigning a Partner directly increases the Combatant's core stats.

Grants a Partner Passive

Combatants gain a Partner Passive, providing additional effects like Damage Up or increased morale gain.

Match the Combatant and Class

The Partner Passive only becomes active if the Partner's Class matches the Combatant's. Note: The passive will not activate if the Classes are different.

Enables the Partner's Ego Skill

In battle, you can consume EP to activate the Partner's unique Ego Skill, similar to a Combatant's skill.
