This guide covers the training and upgrade priorities for Chaos Zero Nightmare (CZN). It includes methods for Leveling Combatants, Promotion, Training Elements, and their Priority.

Training Elements and Priority

Level Up
You can level up a character using Battle Memory. As a simple and effective way to increase their stats, it's the most straightforward method to increase your combat power.
Promotion
Characters have a level cap, which can be unlocked through Promotion. Combatant stats will also increase upon Promotion.
Restricted by Striker Manual
To perform a Promotion, a certain Striker Manual is required. If you reach a point where you can't promote any further, level up and take on a Promotion Mission.
Potential Upgrade
Each character has a Potential that can be sequentially upgraded using specific materials. Potential upgrades include enhancements such as Stat Proficiency and Card Upgrades.
Upgrade the First Potential Early
Unlocking the first Potential allows you to obtain one random Rare Card through Epiphany when entering Chaos. Since it requires only a small amount of materials, it's best to unlock it early.
Unlock Potential via Promotions
Potential upgrades are limited by a character's Promotion stage. If you can't enhance it further, advance their Promotion.
Creating Save Data
By challenging Chaos, you can create Save Data containing stronger Cards and equipment. While this process takes time, it's the most impactful form of Upgrade element.
Not Effective in Chaos
Save Data cannot be used within Chaos, so it won't help you clear it. Keep this in mind when progressing.
Manifest Ego
By using Memory Codes obtained from duplicate Combatants, you can perform a Manifest Ego. Although the upgrade requirements are steep, each stage offers powerful benefits, including enhanced Card Upgrades and improved passives.
How to Create Powerful Save Data
Aim for Epiphanies
In Chaos, you can obtain and enhance Cards through Epiphany. If you draw a Card that can trigger an Epiphany, make sure to use it proactively.
Epiphanies Can Occur in Event Areas
You can also trigger an Epiphany during Events in an Unidentified Area. Be sure to aim for them whenever you land on an Unidentified Area.
Obtain Equipment
Equipment obtained in Chaos is also reflected in your Save Data. Use Event Areas and the Dellang Shop to acquire powerful equipment.
Guaranteed in Elite Area
In the purple Elite Area, victory guarantees equipment. The enemies are formidable, but if your HP is high and Stress is low, it's worth attempting.
Focus on Upgrading One Character
Save Data is saved for each individual character, not the entire party. A useful strategy is to equip all gear to a single character and focus on creating Save Data exclusively for them.
