Distortion Adaptation Use
Try Combatants Before Training Them

Using Distortion Adaptation allows you to take even completely untrained Combatants into Chaos. This makes it possible to check how a Combatant feels to use before investing training materials.
Use It When You Get New Characters
When you get a new Combatant from the gacha, use this to judge whether they are worth investing training materials in. You can actually use them in battle to check their compatibility with your other characters and their strength before deciding on a training plan.
Helps Identify Compatible Combatants

Normally, you would need to train all three Combatants to a certain extent before tackling Chaos, but with Distortion Adaptation, you can save on training Costs, making it easier to casually research things like Combatant compatibility.
Try Them With Your Main Characters
It's also effective to try Challenges by combining your main trained characters with untrained characters Upgraded via Distortion Adaptation. You might discover new synergies from unexpected combinations.
You Can Get Save Data as Usual
Even with Distortion Adaptation enabled, you can still obtain Save Data as usual, so it can be a deciding factor for prioritizing the training of Combatants for whom you were able to create powerful Save Data.
Distortion Adaptation Tips
Only Applies to Burning Life

During the season, Distortion Adaptation only applies to the Chaos [Burning Life]. It is an auxiliary system to make it easier for players with insufficient combat power to clear.
Auto-Set to the Recommended Level

If the level of your Combatants or Partners is lower than the recommended level for the Chaos Challenges, it will be automatically raised to a 'Reference Level' close to the recommended level.
Applies Even With Partial Upgrades
If only a part of the training is advanced, such as only the level, it will be applied as compensation for other elements.
Potential Nodes Are Adjusted
The recommended Potential nodes for Chaos Exploration are also adjusted to the recommended level if the current level is lower.
Memory Fragments Are Also Added
Recommended Memory Fragments are also additionally compensated according to their skill values. However, note that you cannot choose the Memory Fragment set.
Temporary Partners Available
When you enable Distortion Adaptation, a Partner suitable for that Combatant is temporarily provided. It's a convenient feature that allows you to enjoy the Event even if you have Partners that are still being trained or that you don't own.
