Get Growing Creature in Your Hands

By retaining Growing Creature in your hands, it transforms into Creation. The damage increase that activates when you retain Creation in your hands is key, so start with it in your hands.

Retry if It's Not in Your Hands

If you don't get Growing Creature in your starting hand, you can select retry from the menu in the top right to restart the battle efficiently.

Use Spore Harvester

The Contaminated Spore created when you use Spore Harvester multiplies when you retain it in your hands, and inflicts a debuff that increases damage taken when you use it. This debuff stacks, so keep using it until the very last moment.

Use Upgrade Cards and Other Items

Use the Upgrade Cards and multiplied Contaminated Spores in your hands to compress your deck. Also, using Exhaust Cards reduces the Cost of 'Fatal Strike', so get Hew to its final stage.

Activate the Retain Effect of Creation

Use Growth Acceleration and Will of Light to activate the retain effect of Creation and increase Hew's damage. Will of Light also activates the retain effect of all Cards in your hands, so you can multiply Contaminated Spores as well.

Apply Buffs and Debuffs to the Fullest

Continue step 4 until you reach your HP limit. You will take damage from the enemy's Attack and when Necrosis activates due to the healing from activating retain effects, so be careful of your remaining HP.

Prepare to Attack

When you can't take any more damage, prepare as much as possible while watching the enemy's Action Count. At this stage, you can go ahead and use Creation.

Defeat Enemy With a Damage-boosted Hew

If you've applied enough buffs and debuffs, you can defeat it with this one Strike.

If You Didn't Have Enough Damage

If the first Hew didn't finish it off, and if you have Fighting Spirit in your hands, you can use 'Fatal Strike' to use 'Hew (Max Power) Lv.5' again.

Compress the deck

Use Upgrade Cards or Exhaust Cards to reduce the number of cards in your deck. If you have Chocolate Bar or Source of Water in your hand, use them to cycle through your deck as quickly as possible.

Use Spore Harvester

Use Spore Harvester when it comes to your hands. The Contaminated Spore created at this time should be retained in your hands without using it, as it will become a resource for Beryl's Attack.

Increase Contaminated Spores

While using up any remaining Upgrade Cards or Exhaust Cards, create Contaminated Spores. In the image, we didn't need to use the Source, so it's left, but if it goes well, you can get your deck size to 0 for a smoother progression.

Repeat Ending Turns

After your hands are full of retained Cards, you can just keep ending your turn to Attack with the effect of Opening Found. You should be able to defeat the boss if your ATK and HP are not lacking.

Compress the deck

Use the Upgrade Cards in your hands to get the deck into a state where it's easy to cycle.

Ignore the Summoned Via

Via is summoned at the start of the battle, but don't defeat it; focus on Viadeus instead. Once you deplete Viadeus's HP below the line on his gauge, he will defeat Via himself and enter an enhanced mode.

Use Search Cards to assemble your hands

Use Adagio and other Cards to get Bottomless Hunger in your hands and lower the Cost of Anchor Shot.

Use Contaminated Spore as Material

Adagio lets you draw 2 Cards from the discarded character's deck, so by choosing it as the Card to discard, you can Search for Bottomless Hunger. However, the discarded Contaminated Spore will be added to your deck, so try to avoid using it as much as possible.

You Can Use Bottomless Hunger Separately

Among the Search Cards, only G Chord requires 1 AP. Since Bottomless Hunger reduces the Cost of two Cards, if you have both in your hands, it's more economical to use it first to lower the Cost before using them.

discard Haru's Cards with Adagio

If you have Adagio and Haru's Cards in your hands, discarding them gives you a chance to draw 2 Anchor Pointer Cards. This increases the number of times you can use Anchor Shot, so give it a try if you have the right Cards in your hands.

Use the cost-reduced Anchor Shot

Use the Anchor Pointer you've secured to deal as much damage as possible with Anchor Shot.

Aim to eliminate the Shield

If Viadeus doesn't have a Shield, he won't Attack and will instead gain a Shield. If he does have a Shield, he will Attack, so aiming to eliminate the Shield will lead to a more stable fight.

Keep using Anchor Shot

By repeating steps 2-4, the power of Anchor Shot will also increase, allowing you to defeat the boss.

Secure Opening and Spore Harvester First

Viadeus will Attack if he has a Shield. Get at least one Spore Harvester and one Opening Found in your starting hands, and you'll have a more stable clear if you start with a means of attacking secured.

Use Cards While Increasing Contaminated Spores

It's important to secure your Attack resources with Haste, so use your Cards as soon as possible. However, in the Viadeus battle, as long as you can use Spore Harvester and all Opening Found, the priority of using up the rest of your Cards is low.

Repeat Ending Turns

Once you've used up Opening Found and Spore Harvester, just keep ending your turn to Attack. Source of Water recovers HP along with AP, so use it when you're in danger.
