Prism Module GuideCZN Pity System
Hard Pity

In Chaos Zero Nightmare, a 5-Star unit is guaranteed within 70 pulls on a banner. If a player does not obtain a 5-Star before reaching this threshold, the 70th pull will always result in one.
Soft Pity
In CZN, soft pity begins around the 58th pull. From this point, the 5-Star drop rate steadily increases with each pull, significantly boosting the chances of obtaining a 5-Star before reaching hard pity.
Banner Pity Carry-Over Mechanics
Pity Carry-Over Rules
---
Pity carries over between limited banners of the same category. Pity does not transfer across different banner categories, such as Combatant to Partner banners. Once a 5-Star is obtained, the pity counter for that banner category resets to zero.
Pity progress in Chaos Zero Nightmare is not lost when a banner ends. It will be transferred provided the next banner is of the same type.
Pull Count

Pity carryover allows players to preserve their pull progress even after a banner ends, provided the next banner is within the same category. This means any pulls made without obtaining a 5-Star are not wasted and continue counting toward future pity thresholds.
Duplicate Pull Results by Rarity
5-Star Units
---
When a duplicate 5-Star Combatant is obtained for the 2nd to 7th time, they will be converted into [Memory Code ×1] for the corresponding unit + [Moment of the Radiant Hero ×20 Starting from the 8th duplicate, they will be converted into [ Spectral Cube x1 ] + [ Moment of the Radiant Hero x50 ].
4-Star Units
---
When a duplicate 4-Star Combatant is obtained for the 2nd to 7th time, it will be converted into [Memory Code ×1] for the corresponding unit + [Moment of the Radiant Hero ×4]. Starting from the 8th duplicate, it will be converted into [Moment of the Radiant Hero ×10]. When a duplicate 4-Star Partner is obtained, you will receive that Partner along with [Moment of the Radiant Hero ×4].
3-Star Units
---
When a duplicate 3-Star Partner is obtained, you will receive that Partner along with [Moment of the Radiant Traveler ×20].
Duplicate pulls are converted into upgrade materials, ensuring continued progression even when drawing previously obtained units.
Spectral Cube Exchange ShopCZN Pity Tips
Track Your Pull Count

Always keep note of how many pulls you have made on a banner, especially as you approach soft pity.
Pull Strategically Near Soft Pity
Since 5-Star rates increase around soft pity, avoid casual pulls early and commit only when you are prepared to reach higher odds.
Plan Around Hard Pity
Ensure you have enough resources to reach hard pity if needed, guaranteeing a 5-Star without relying on luck.
Take Advantage of Pity Carryover
To use pity carryover effectively, players should focus on a single banner type at a time and plan pulls around upcoming rate-up units.
Prioritize Limited Rescue Banners
Limited Rescue Banners offer the highest long-term value for most players, as they feature rate-up Combatants or Partners that are not always available in the standard pool.
Rescue Banner GuideTarget Seasonal Banners

Seasonal banners offer limited-time units tied to special events and are usually unavailable after the banner ends, making them valuable for players who want rare and unique additions to their roster.
Avoid Splitting Pulls Across Banner Types
Pity does not transfer between different banner categories, so focus your pulls on one banner type at a time.
What is Pity?
A mechanic that guarantees high-rarity pulls after a fixed number of attempts to protect against bad luck.
