Arena Added

As a new feature, an Arena will be added within Chaos. Tiles where an Arena Event can occur have an icon, and stepping on the tile temporarily moves you to a dedicated area.
| Note! | The icon on the map is the same as the previous Dimensional Tunnel. |
Encounter Arena Battles

Upon entering the Arena, you will fight twice, and a weapon pile is placed in those battles. Attacking it will create Arena Cards, so make use of it to aim for a clear.

Arena Cards are configured to have Cost 0 or auto-activate so they don't hinder play. Make good use of them to clear the Arena.
Arena Clear Rewards

Clearing the two Arena battles grants Arena Equipment that can create Exhaust Cards. Afterwards, as a reward, you can add a refinement effect to the Equipment.
Arena Equipment

Arena Equipment is newly added Equipment whose effects activate under certain conditions. Some Equipment also has effects that create Arena Cards; while rare, they offer useful effects.
Refinement Effects

Choose one from three random options to grant. The effect is retained even if the Equipment is overwritten, so prioritize the effect when choosing. However, adding a refinement effect increases Faint Memory by 10 points.

God's Hammer

Defeating the boss in the center grants the God's Hammer. The God's Hammer can only be used on refined Equipment and adds an additional existing Equipment effect. Using the God's Hammer increases Faint Memory by 10 points.
Distortion Adaptation

A system feature called Distortion Adaptation is added exclusively to the Seasonal Chaos. You receive enhancements scaled to the level of the Chaos you enter, and you can also equip a trial Partner, so you can easily use characters that you haven't fully raised.
Distortion Adaptation GuideCZN Burning Life Colossus Boss
Colossus Information

With the update, a new boss, Colossus, has been added to the Arena. Defeat it to obtain Mythic Equipment.
Difficulty Level is Quite High

Colossus has high stats, and if you attack each arm three times, it will perform immediate attacks and apply debuffs. It's strong even on lower difficulties, so if you're running a multi-hit team, it's recommended not to force the fight.
Rewards are Mythic Equipment
| Limited Equipment | Arena Cards |
|---|---|
![]() | ![]() |
Defeating Colossus grants limited Mythic Equipment. While the conditions are demanding, if leveraged fully it enables extremely powerful Attacks.
How to Battle Colossus

To fight Colossus, you must unlock Core Entity Access in Environment Variables. Clear Chaos to obtain Upgrade materials and unlock it from the Zero System screen.
Can Be Battled Again in the Arena

After unlocking the Core Entity Access node, anew option will appear in the central Arena once you clear an outer Arena. Choose the Gatekeeper's Trial, and after fighting the Gatekeeper, you can battle Colossus.
CZN Burning Life Features
Close to Swamp of Judgment
Burning Life has Elites, bosses, and Equipment configured similarly to Swamp of Judgment. Take note that the main attribute remains Order, but the enemies that appear are changed to those weak to Order and Passion.
Get Equipment and Cards for Exhaust
In Burning Life there are many Cards centered on Exhaust. While there aren't many characters who can leverage Exhaust, you can compensate using the added Equipment and Cards.
Burning Life Equipment
| Equipment | Skill |
|---|---|
Brilliant Eternal Flame | Weapon Increases the damage of Exhaust cards with a cost of 2 or more by 40%. |
Liberated Essence | Armor At the start of the turn, decrease Cost of 1 random Exhaust card in hand by 1 for 1 turn. |
Fairy King's Crown | Armor +6% Critical Chance |
Dagger That Tricked the Shadow | Weapon +12% Critical Damage |
Immortal Scale | Armor When gaining Counterattack by an ability, add 1 Counterattack. |
Harpoon Case of Broken Resolve | Weapon Create 1 Pierce each odd turn. |
Launcher of Ruined Honor | Trinket Create 1 Heavy Blow each even turn. |
Among the newly added Rare equipment are multiple pieces of Arena Equipment that create Exhaust Cards. The Cards created by this equipment have a Cost of 0, so use their effects to build your Save Data.

Common Cards ListCZN Burning Life Farming Tips
Collect Chaos Architect

First, clear low-difficulty Chaos to collect Chaos Architect. Using the collected Chaos Architect to Upgrade in the Zero System will make your Chaos exploration more advantageous.
Perform Upgrades

Upgrades offer many effects that are advantageous for farming, such as re-selecting Epiphanies or specifying a character for copying. Unlocking these early on will lower the difficulty of creating Save Data, so prioritize them.
| Note! | Upgrades have been completely revamped with the start of Season 2. |
Create Save Data on High Difficulty

Clearing a Chaos unlocks the next difficulty level. As the difficulty increases, the TIER, which relates to the capacity of your Save Data, also increases, so choose the highest difficulty you can clear.
Save Data GuidePenalties Can Be Rerolled

In Chaos of difficulty IV and higher, penalties will occur. These come with disadvantageous effects, but also the benefit of increasing your tier. Penalties can be rerolled with Re-Observe, so change them to something you can clear.
| Note! | The penalty that increases Elite tiles has little impact and is useful for raising TIER. |
Prioritize the Arena When Choosing a Route

When creating Save Data, check the map and prioritize routes that let you enter the Arena. Refinements and the Hammer of God have significant benefits and are crucial for creating a powerful Save Data.
Chaos GuideCZN Burning Life Best Teams
Save Data Calculation Has Changed
With the implementation of Season 2 Seed of Karmic Fire, the Save Data saving rules were adjusted. You still focus on one character at a time, but make your strongest character among your roster the escort lead when possible.
Order and Passion Main Recommended
In Burning Life, about half of the enemies are weak to Order and the other half to Passion, so prioritize those Attackers. In the example above, the core is Nine who hits attribute advantage, paired with Mika, a synergistic supporter.
Character Replacements
| Alternative | Reason |
|---|---|
Yuki | Order Attribute Attacker - AoE Attack Attacker of the Order attribute - Damage is low unless Memory Fragments, Equipment, and Epiphanies are in place |
Mei Lin | Passion Attribute Attacker - An excellent Attacker centered on Basic Attacks - Until Epiphanies are set, she feels shaky; level and Memory Fragments are necessary |
Sereniel | Instinct Attribute Attacker - A strong choice if you ignore weaknesses - A great character who can both deal damage and refill AP |
If the Save Data main character is an Attacker, pick a character who covers that character's weaknesses or a sub-Attacker to make progression more stable.
Character Replacements
| Alternative | Reason |
|---|---|
Narja | Instinct Attribute Supporter - Supporter who provides both buffs and healing - Can also serve as an attacker, but since it's not a weak-advantage attribute, better to commit to support |
Nia | Instinct Attribute Supporter - Supporter specialized in draw support - Can also Heal with |
Veronica | Passion Attribute Attacker - Attacker who can also offer draw support - If the Save Data main character is a Supporter, she is an option |
Supporters who don't Attack much don't need to match attributes strictly. Choose a character who synergizes with your Attacker. If the Save Data main character is a Supporter, also making Character 2 an Attacker stabilizes clears.
CZN Burning Life Boss List
Elemental Spirit

The Elemental Spirit is the boss of Stage 1 (outer perimeter) of Seasonal Chaos. It’s easy to deal damage before it acts, so Attack aggressively.
See Elemental Spirit FeaturesBoss Features
| Wrath of the Mountain God | If below 50% of max HP, action changes, heal 20% of this monster's max HP |
| Roar's Recoil | Increase damage taken by 30% before acting |
| Preparing for Riot | At the start of turn, Rampage 1 |
| Rampage | For 1 turn, if it takes damage of 15% or more of max HP, its action changes to a weaker Attack |
Actions
| Count | Skill | Effect |
|---|---|---|
| ∞ | Screaming | Roaring Recoil 1 |
| 5 | Continuous Slams | Attack ×2 |
| 5 | Fierce Scream | |
| Below 50% HP (after Mountain God's Wrath activates) | ||
| 6 | Fierce Roar | Preparing for Riot 1 |
| 4 | Crush | Attack ×1 |
| When Rampage ends | ||
| ∞ | Purification Attack | Attack ×1 |
Deal Damage Before It Acts

Since dealing damage before it acts increases the damage you deal, use your Attack Cards before it acts. However, once HP falls below 50%, the number of Attacks per turn becomes important, so be careful when it’s around that threshold.
| Note! | It won’t act until the end of the very first turn, so reduce as much HP as possible then |
Deal High Damage When Below 50% HP

While in rampage state it stacks strong Attacks along with Morale each turn. If you deal damage equal to 15% or more of max HP, it switches to a weaker Attack, so be sure to shave HP every turn.
Plague Lord

Defeating the Stage 1 boss lets you advance to the interior. The interior boss, Plague Lord, reduces damage with Encroaching Fear when attacked and then starts taking stronger actions. Prioritize using high-damage Cards.
See Plague Lord FeaturesGimmicks
| Encroaching Fear | Each time dealing Damage it is reduced by 1, and if it drops to 0, the mask changes. |
Actions
* Details of the actions are currently under investigation
| Count | Skill | Effect |
|---|---|---|
| 3 | Influx of Terror | Influx of Terror 6 |
| 7 | Mask of Collapse | Attack ×1 Create |
| After Removing Encroaching Fear → Mask of Recovery | ||
| 4 | Mask of Recovery | Shield 180% |
| After Mask of Recovery Activates → Mask of Terror | ||
| Immediate | Unbearable Terror | Unbearable Terror 8 |
| 7 | Mask of Terror | Attack ×1 |
| After Removing Unbearable Fear → Calamity | ||
| 0 | Calamity | |
| 10 | Plague | Attack ×1 |
Avoid Extended Fights if Possible

Each time the mask changes, Plague Lord begins taking stronger actions like gaining Morale or inflicting Vulnerable. The later it goes, the harder it is to survive, so aim to finish early with a high-damage setup.
No Need to Save Up Attacks

Considering the action counts and limits on number of Attacks, it’s difficult to defeat it without changing masks. Avoid only the lowest-power Attacks and otherwise Attack actively to shave HP.
Beware of Absolute Invincibility

Reducing Unbearable terror to 0 applies Absolute Invincibility, preventing HP loss that turn, so be careful. After that, it will continue to add Morale while Attacking, so finish quickly.

What Is Seasonal Chaos?
Chaos Limited to the Event Season

| Unlock Condition | Clear Chapter 1, Episode 10 Standoff |
Seasonal Chaos is a Chaos held during Galaxy Disaster. Save Data created in Seasonal Chaos can be used in the high-difficulty content, Nebula Distortion and The Great Rift.
Added to Zero System After It Ends
After the season ends, Seasonal Chaos is added to [Zero System]. However, it’s harder to add penalties than during the Event, so if there’s a character you want to build data for, do it during the period.
You Can Create Seasonal Save Data

In the boss-fight content Nebula Distortion and the score-attack content The Great Rift, only Save Data from the same season can be used. To clear them, you need to create strong Save Data in Seasonal Chaos.
Seasonal Save Data Can Also Be Created in the Codex

By enabling Galaxy Disaster, you can also create Seasonal Save Data in the Codex. Depending on which Equipment you’re targeting, creating Save Data outside of Seasonal Chaos can also be an option.
Obtain Season Achievement Rewards

Seasonal Chaos has score rewards that reset weekly. Your score accumulates by clearing Seasonal Chaos, so at least play until you reach the weekly score target.
Items You Obtain Can Be Used in the Shop

In addition to universal growth materials and Crystals, achievement rewards include items exchangeable at the Supply Shop. In the Supply Shop, you can exchange for Anchors and growth materials.
