Chizuru - Pros/Cons
Has a Means of Recovery
Chizuru restores a percentage of her HP with Shadow of the Moon+. It is rare for a character other than a Controller to have a healing ability, which can increase the stability of your team.
Consistent Attack Options
Chizuru's skill creates an Attack Card called Shadow of the Moon. The created Card also has retain, enabling consistent attacks every turn.
Cannot Gain AP from Skills
When you use Bound At Dusk, its Bind effect increases Shadow of the Moon's Hit Count. However, be aware that in exchange, you will not gain AP except at the start of the turn or from Ravage, meaning she cannot benefit from AP-generating characters like Mika.
How to Play Chizuru
Apply Bind with Karmic Flames First
Applying Bind is crucial to using Chizuru. Start by using Karmic Flames to put the enemy in the Cursed Shackles state. Attacking an enemy in this state allows you to gain Will-O'-Wisp.
Merge 3 Shadow of the Moon cards
When you collect 5 Will-O'-Wisp, an Attack Card called Shadow of the Moon is created. Multiple Shadow of the Moon cards are not kept in your hand; they stack into a single card. When 3 are stacked, it transforms into Shadow of the Moon+ with a healing effect, so aim to create 3 of them.
Increase Will-O'-Wisp using Tsukuyomi
Tsukuyomi is a card that allows you to gain Will-O'-Wisp based on the next card you use. You can aim to gain a large amount of Will-O'-Wisp, so be mindful of the order you play cards when it's in your hand.
Use Oni Hunt before Shadow of the Moon
Oni Hunt is a card that increases the damage of stacked cards. Use it before Shadow of the Moon to enhance its damage.
Combine Her With Characters With High Hit Counts
Will-O'-Wisp is gained according to the Hit Count when attacking an enemy in the Cursed Shackles state. To bring out Chizuru's strengths, combine her with characters that have a high Hit Count or 0-cost attacks.
