Prioritize Pulling for Hikari Shinomiya
Hikari Shinomiya is a single-target Attacker possessing two Attributes: Slash and Wind. She is an excellent Attacker capable of increasing her action count through damage and SPD buffs. As she is also a valuable limited character, you should prioritize obtaining her.
She is particularly valuable for players who do not yet possess a 5-star Elemental Attacker like Reno Ichikawa. She is also highly effective in the new Special Event, "Time of Radiant Splendor" Challenges.
Hikari Shinomiya (5-Star) Guide
You Should Also Pull for Lc‐0039
Hikari's weapon, "Lc‐0039," is also a limited item. Currently, it can only be obtained from the Hikari Gacha, so it is highly recommended that you pull for it. As compatible weapon options are limited, securing this weapon is a high priority if you aim to maximize Hikari's damage potential.
Hikari Shinomiya Evaluation
Attacker with Dual Attributes: Slash and Wind
Hikari is an Attacker possessing both Slash and Wind Attributes. She is capable of reducing both Physical and Elemental Plates, making her a highly versatile character.
Acceleration Increases DMG Dealt & SPD
Hikari gains an Acceleration buff before activating her Ultimate. While in Acceleration state, she is exceptional as she can increase her action count by boosting her SPD, while simultaneously increasing her DMG Dealt.

Can Recover SP with Acceleration
While the Acceleration buff is active, using a Combat Skill on a Core Exposed Kaiju recovers 1 SP. Consequently, while in Acceleration state, she can utilize skills against a Core Exposed Kaiju without concern for SP consumption.
Buffs Self for Increased Damage
In addition to the DMG Dealt increase provided by the Acceleration buff, Hikari gains an ATK buff (up to 5 stacks) each time she breaks a Plate, and her CRIT DMG increases when attacking a Core Exposed Kaiju. She can significantly enhance her own damage through these multiple buffs.

Guaranteed 4★ or Higher Every 10 Pulls
In every 10th pull done in the gacha, a 4-star or higher character is guaranteed. Weapons are not included in this guarantee.
Pity: 250 Pulls for Characters, 150 for Weapons
In Kaiju No. 8, each Gacha pull gives you a Pickup Gacha Medal. You can exchange 150 Medals for a weapon and 250 for a character, which acts as the pity system.
