Narumi Is a Must-Pull
Gen is excellent at breaking Plates, can provide ATK UP & Ultimate Gauge buffs, and can also recover SP under certain conditions. Since he's also a limited-time character, he is a top priority character to pull for.

Since Gen has two attributes, Slash and Shot, he can easily chip away at Plates in battles with many enemies who have Physical Plates. Furthermore, by removing the Seen Through state with his Ultimate, he can randomly destroy 3 Plates, allowing him to also excel at inflicting Core Exposed.
Can Boost His Own ATK
Gen is also excellent in that he can increase his own ATK to fight. With his Passive Skill, when attacking a Kaiju with 80% HP or less, he gets Critical Hit +20%. In addition, his ATK increases by +4% each time a Plate is broken, stacking up to 5 times.
Easy to Use Ultimate
Gen can grant himself Ultimate Gauge Charge Rate +100% at the start of a Wave. Therefore, he is in a state where it is easy to use his Ultimate after a Wave starts.
Recovers SP from Core Exposed Enemies
When attacking a Core Exposed Kaiju, you can recover 1 SP by activating a Combat Skill. Therefore, when facing a Core Exposed enemy, he can use his skills without worrying about SP consumption.
