Unlocking Hero's Quest Chronicles Overview

Get the Hero's Adventure Machine Beacon

First, get the Beacon for the "Hero's Adventure Machine" from the event page.

Challenge it from the Spiral of Destinies

The Spiral of Destinies "The Hero's Adventure Legend" can be played by selecting the Beacon from the normal "Spiral of Destinies".

Select the Hero's Adventure Machine Beacon

On the Beacon selection screen, select the "Hero's Adventure Mode".

Bring Your Characters

In The Hero's Adventure Legend, you can bring 3-5 characters (changes depending on Astral Nodes). Bring your well-trained characters to gain an advantage in your playthrough. Be aware that Star Level Ups and Skills will be channeled from the moment you bring them in, and you cannot bring Gear.

Select the Difficulty

Select the difficulty. In addition to the normal "Normal Mode," there are "Hard Mode" and "Hell Mode" where enemy HP and attack power are increased. You can achieve different Achievements in each, so aim to clear all modes. Note that only Normal Mode can be selected on your first attempt.

Progress by Engaging in Conversation Events/Battles

You will progress by engaging in conversation events and battles from the map. Basically, you can progress by following the instructions in the bottom right of the screen, so keep that in mind. It takes 15 weeks to clear, which is shorter compared to the existing Spiral of Destinies.

Level Up and Unlock Skills at the Training Ground

Just like the normal Spiral of Destinies, you can strengthen your characters at the Training Ground. There are various types of training, but basically, all can be completed in a week Be aware that your characters will become much stronger by gaining many passive effects from "Training Grounds", so keep that in mind.

Types of Training

Obtain and Enhance Tactical Skills at Luxite Workshop

At the Luxite Workshop, you can acquire and enhance "Tactical Skills" and TP-related enhancements. Collect items by progressing through battles and steadily enhancing them.

Shop at the Trading Post

In the Trading Post or the Leader's Office, merchants from caravans may be selling items. They sometimes sell Legendary Gear and powerful Training Materials, so be sure to purchase them to strengthen your characters significantly.

Decide the Quest Difficulty

You may also be able to select the difficulty of the quest (battle). By choosing the "Elite Quest", you will receive more rewards upon clearing, so if you are confident in your Power, be sure to select the Elite Quest.

Various Events/Choices Exist

There are various events where you are forced to make a choice, such as whether to gain funds or Luxite Extract. Make your choice based on your training policy and the items you lack.

Get Rewards from Destiny Traces - Feats

You can obtain Hope Luxites and icon frames from "Feats", which can be checked in "Destiny Traces" on the home screen. Then you can get a change depending on the mode (difficulty), so aim to clear all modes.

Get Rewards with Knowledge Level

By increasing your Knowledge Level, you can obtain various rewards such as Gear and enhancement items.

Available to Play at Any Time

The Spiral of Destinies "The Hero's Adventure Legend" is not a limited-time event; it is permanently available. Since you can play it at any time, it is recommended to challenge it after advancing your characters' Star Level Ups or learning new Skills.
