Should You Pull for Sun Wukong?
Pull for a Versatile and Strong Attacker
Sun Wukong is a powerful magic attacker with a wealth of offensive tools, including Petrify, Crit, and Ignore Defense, who can be used in a wide range of content from PvP to PvE. If you want a highly versatile, strong attacker who can excel in both Physical and magic parties, you should pull for him.
Transcendence is a High Priority
He becomes powerful at Transcendence 2, gaining an AoE Heal when his HP is below half, and at Transcendence 6, his Crit Rate becomes 100%. If you plan on using him, you'll want to Trasncend as much as possible during his Rate Up.

Trude is a durable, late-blooming, wide-area Physical attacker effective in PvE and PvP. She excels as a Tank team attacker in PvP and is valuable in Adventure and Infinite Tower for wide-area attacks. She is also suited for Ruby and Nightmare farming.
Sun Wukong's Impact on the Meta
Block Rate Becomes More Important
At Transcendence 6, Sun Wukong's Crit Rate becomes 100%, and he also has a Block Rate Reduction effect. Because of this, if your Block Rate is low, it will be difficult to counter his Crits, making Block Rate even more important than before.
Can Counter Tank Teams
In addition to the effects mentioned above, he also applies Petrify, and compared to conventional damage-focused attackers, his specialty is that he can easily damage tank teams. His Block Rate Reduction is also particularly effective against tank teams, so they will likely be at a disadvantage compared to before.
Status Ailments are Harder to Use
Another of his strengths is that as long as he has higher Speed, it is difficult to stop him with status ailments due to his Crowd Control Immunity. This also makes him a counter to effects like Kagura's Petrify and Elysia's Silence, and there's a possibility that the conventional openers using status ailment in PvP will no longer be effective.

Recommended for Magic Parties
Sun Wukong himself doesn't have synergy effects with specific types of Heroes, so he's a Hero who can basically excel in any party. However, since he's a magic attacker, you could say he has good synergy with those who provide magic damage buffs or apply Magic Vulnerability.
Yeonhee, Kyle, and Teo are Alternatives
High-damage attackers like Yeonhee, Kyle, and Teo can be considered alternative Heroes. However, a major difference is that Sun Wukong also provides support capabilities like an AoE Heal, Block Rate Reduction, and Crowd Control Immunity, as well as status ailment resistance.
