How to Use Leaf

Versatile Supporter That Can Serve as 2 Energy

Leaf is a Supporter card that reduces retreat Energy, similar to X Speed. It uses a Supporter slot, but it is equivalent to 2 Energy worth of effect with just 1 card making it an incredibly powerful and versatile card.

Especially Useful for Switching Wall Pokemon

In decks where you set up a wall Pokemon early and build up your Bench, Leaf becomes more valuable than X Speed because it allows for smoother switching. It works particularly well with Basic Pokemon that have high retreat Energy.
