Consistently Draw for Toxicroak’s Evolution

Team Galactic Grunt allows you to add Croagunk, Stunky, or Glameow to your hand. This deck is optimized to only include Croagunk, ensuring that the ability consistently draws the evolution base for Toxicroak.

Arrange Pokemon on the Bench
Prepare a second attacker as well.

Stall Time With Weezing

Evolve Koffing into Weezing as soon as possible to reduce the opponent's HP and buy time until you can set up your attacking role on the Bench. When Weezing's HP is low, recover it with Koga and use Weezing repeatedly.

Arrange Pokemon on the Bench

While stalling with Weezing, set up Pokemon on the Bench and attach Energy to Toxicroak. When the opponent's main attacker comes out, use Toxicroak to attack.

Prepare a Second Attacker as Well

While Toxicroak is on the Active Spot, attach Energy to Darkrai ex on the Bench to support your damage output and prepare it as your next attacker. If the opponent has a Pokemon ex, attaching Energy to Tauros is also effective.
