Hypno Pros and Cons

Ability to Put Opponent to Sleep

Hypno has an Ability that allows you to put the opponent's Pokemon to Sleep. By flipping a coin and getting heads, plus an additional Sleep check during Pokemon Checkup, there’s a 25% chance of rendering the opponent's Pokemon unable to act. It's worth noting that this Ability can be used from the Bench, making it quite valuable.

Attack Power Is Modest

Hypno's Attack deals 50 damage for 3 Energy, which is not particularly efficient. It’s best to consider using it only when you have no other Pokemon to allocate your Energy to.
