Pidgeot Pros and Cons

Ability Provides a Valuable Switching Effect

Pidgeot's Ability allows you to switch your opponent's Active Pokemon with one of their Benched Pokemon once per turn. While the opponent gets to choose which Pokemon to bring out, disrupting their Bench can be quite troublesome, making this a very powerful Ability.

Same Effect As Sabrina

Pidgeot's Ability functions the same as Sabrina's effect. The key difference is that while Pidgeot requires evolving to use this Ability, it frees up your Supporter card for the turn, allowing you to use a different Supporter instead.

Highly Cost-Effective Attack

Pidgeot's Attack deals 70 damage with just 2 Energy. As a Stage 2 Pokemon, it has excellent cost-effectiveness among Single-Prize Pokemon.

Takes Time To Prepare As A Stage 2 Pokemon

Since Pidgeot is a Stage 2 Pokemon, the earliest it can evolve is by the third turn after you play Pidgey.
