This card allows you to select a Basic Pokemon from your opponent’s discard pile and place it on their Bench. Combining it with cards like Victreebel or Sabrina could lead to powerful strategies!

  2. Genome Hacking
Choose 1 of your opponent's Active Pokemon's attacks and use it as this attack.

Mew, featured on the cover, makes its debut as a Pokemon ex. With 130 HP and a retreat cost of 1 Energy, it can serve as a Tank, much like Zapdos ex.

Additionally, Mew ex's Genome Hack Ability can be used with only Colorless Energy and allows you to copy your opponent's attack, making it a card worth considering for many decks.

    Primeval Law
Your opponent can't play any Pokemon from their hand to evolve their Active Pokemon.
  2. Land Crush
    80

Aerodactyl Pokemon Ex appears in Fighting Type. Primeval Law Ability has the effect of blocking the opponent's battle Pokemon's Evolve. This may make cards like Weezing and Starmie ex a bit harder to use.

Flip a coin. If heads, your opponent's Active Pokemon is now Paralyzed.

Dedenne is in the new Pokemon slot. Like Pincurchin, it also has the Thunder Shock ability, and its power has been reduced from 30 to 10. However, it can be used with just 1 Energy, which is a distinctive feature.

The new Vaporeon card has the Wash Out Ability, allows you to move as many Water Energy attached to Bench Water Pokemon to an Active Spot Water Pokémon as you like. This might strengthen the switching strategies with Starmie ex and Articuno ex.

    40+
If any of your Pokemon were Knocked Out by damage from an attack during your opponent's last turn, this attack does 60 more damage.

The new Pokemon, Marshadow, is introduced as a Fighting Type. If one of your Pokemon was knocked out by the opponent on their previous turn, its Attack damage becomes 100. Being a Fighting Type, it is noteworthy that it can One-Hit KO Pikachu ex.

100+20×2
  1. Energy Whip
    20+
If this Pokemon has at least 3 extra Grass Energy attached this attack does 70 more damage.

A new Pokemon, Dhelmise, is also be available. In terms of performance, it seems better to think of it as a Grass-type Lapras. While 100 HP is quite powerful for a Basic Pokemon, it is uncertain how effective it will be in a Grass deck without Energy Acceleration like Misty.

Blue

  1. On your opponent's next turn, all of your Pokemon will receive -10 Attack damage from your opponent's Pokemon.

Blue has the opposite effect to Giovanni and reduces the damage your Pokemon takes by 10 on your opponent's next turn.

In a Mewtwo ex mirror match, it can barely survive the opponent's Psystrike, but it can protect Bench Pokemon from Articuno ex's Blizzard. It's a card that seems like it will have some very interesting and useful gameplay.

Supporter Card List

Leaf

  1. During this turn. the Retreat Cost of your Active Pokemon is 2 less.

A new Supporter card, Leaf, has also been introduced. Leaf reduces the retreat cost of your Active Pokemon by 2 Energy. Since it functions like two X Speed cards, it’s likely to be included in many decks as a third or additional X Speed.
