How to Use Pokemon Flute

No Need to Force This Item Into Your Deck

Pokemon Flute allows you to choose 1 Basic Pokemon from your opponent's discard pile and place it on their Bench. While it can be powerful when used effectively, it's not an Item you need to force into your deck.

Great Synergy with Sabrina

Sabrina

The ideal way to use Pokemon Flute is to place a weak Basic Pokemon on your opponent's Bench and then use Sabrina to bring that Pokemon to the Active Spot. It becomes especially powerful when your opponent has 0 Pokemon on their Bench.

Powerful Combination with Victreebel

Victreebel

Not only with Sabrina, but Victreebel also proves to be a strong combination. Unlike Sabrina, Victreebel allows you to target and pull a specific Pokemon from the opponent's Bench even if there are other Pokemon present.

Pokemon Flute Pros and Cons

Primarily a Combo-Only Item

Pokemon Flute allows you to choose a Basic Pokemon from the opponent's Discard and place it on their Bench. It has little effect in most situations, making it a card best used in combination with other cards (combos).
