Pincurchin Pros and Cons

Can Paralyze the Opponent

Pincurchin's Attack deals 30 damage with 2 Energy, which is quite low. However, the Attack effect lets you flip a coin, and if it lands heads, the opponent's Active Pokemon becomes Paralyzed. It’s not ideal as a main attacker, but it can serve as a sub-attacker for Lightning Type decks.

Can be a Comeback Card in Tough Situations

By Paralyzing the opponent, you can almost certainly extend the game for one more turn, which can be useful to buy time and break through a tough situation. If you're lucky, you can use that time to evolve Pokemon on the Bench and potentially turn the tide of the battle.
