How To Get & Recruit Legendary Pokemon
Complete Main Story Of Mystery Dungeon DX
When you first encounter some legendary Pokemon in the game, you will not yet be able to recruit them. Complete the main story to unlock the dungeons where you will get the opportunity to defeat & recruit them.
Check Out What To Do After The Story!Go Through Bonus Dungeons
You will encounter the legendaries by going through the bonus dungeons in the game. Most Legendaries will join you after being defeated, though there are some exceptions (such as Mew).

You can make use of the Friend Bow by equipping it to your leader to increase the chances of recruiting Legendary Pokemon. The Friend Bow is particularly recommended for trying to get Mew from the Buried Relic.
