1. Use Kangaskhan Statue To Prepare
Right before entering Mt. Blaze, you'll see a Kangaskhan Statue to the right. Make sure to store unnecessary items and bring out Oran Berries & Rawst Berries to prepare for the dungeon.
2. Go Through Mt. Blaze
Enemy Attacks Can Cause Burn
The Pokemon in Mt. Blaze are mostly Fire-types and can cause Burn when they attack you. This debuff does damage-over-time and can only be cured when jumping into water, eating a Rawst Berry, or moving onto the next floor.
Avoid Touching Lava To Prevent Burn
There will be pools of lava on the floor and if you touch them, you'll get the Burn debuff as well. Make sure to avoid them to keep from betting burned.
Use Auto To Avoid Lava
If you activate the Auto system in the dungeon, you'll automatically avoid the lava on the floor. If you don't want to move your Pokemon around manually, activate Auto.
Boss Fight: Moltres - Walkthrough & Tips
Type | Fire, Flying |
---|---|
Weaknesses | Water, Electric, Rock |
Others | Pressure |
Moves | Ember, Wing Attack |
Only You & Partner Fight Moltres
In this fight, you'll only have yourself and your partner Pokemon facing Moltres. Make sure to keep your health up with Oran Berries and use status debuffs to slow down Moltres's attacks.
Wing Attack Hits Multiple Targets
Moltres's Wing Attack will hit multiple targets in front of it. Make sure your Pokemon don't stand in a straight line to avoid them getting both hit by the attack.
"Pressure" Passive Uses Up More PP
Moltres has a passive called "Pressure" that costs more PP for you to make your attack moves. Bring Max Ethers or Max Elixirs to replenish your PP.
