The game starts with a series of questions. The game will then recommend a Pokemon depending on how you answered in the interview. Note that you can simply choose the Pokemon that you like after the interview.Check Out The Best Starters List & Quiz Guide Here
3: Choosing A Partner Pokemon
Your partner Pokemon will be your constant companion during your adventures in Pokemon Dungeon DX. Choose well and consider the weaknesses and strengths of each type!
Tiny Woods - Walkthrough & Tips
Pokemon In Tiny Woods
Any Pokemon Is Okay!
As the tutorial dungeon, Pokemon here are weak and can be defeated by any of the starters. So play around and practice your starter's and partner's moves here!Check Out The Pokedex Here!
|Finish the cutscene and explore Tiny Woods
|Mind the cutscenes and pop-up tutorials explaining the basics of dungeon exploration
|Descend down to B5F to rescue Caterpie and finish the dungeon
1~3: First Dungeon Mission
The first mission will be to find lost Caterpie in Tiny Woods. There is no need to eliminate all enemy Pokemon here. Take note of the tutorials as you explore the dungeon. Reaching B4F will end the mission.
Thunderwave Cave Rescue - Walkthrough & Tips
Pokemon In Thunderwave Cave
Bring Ground Pokemon
Ground-type Pokemon will make things very easy in the Thunderwave Cave as most of the Pokemon here are of the Thunder type. For those that chose Mudkip and Cubone, this rescue job will be a walk in the park.Check Out The Pokedex Here!
Forming A Rescue Team
|Form a rescue team with your partner and think of a name
|Continue with the cutscenes to receive a Rescue Team Starter Set
|Interact with the Mailbox and go to Thunderwave Cave
|Fight your way down to B6F to finish the dungeon

Write your Rescue Request Password in our Forum! By doing so, people from all over the world will be able to come help you!

1~3: Create A Rescue Team
This part will only be a series of cutscenes that require minimal player input. To proceed, check the mailbox and then go to Thunderwave Cave for your next mission.
4: Rescuing The Magnemites
The Magnemites will be located in B6F. This dungeon will serve as an extension of the tutorial and will teach you new dungeon mechanics and gimmicks.
