What Is The Illusory Grotto?

The Illusory Grotto appears from time to time and can be visited like a regular dungeon. You can go inside to find very rare items such as Rainbow Gummis, that can be indispensable in future jobs. Just be sure to bring Escape Orbs as you have to finish the whole dungeon to get out.
Has Dungeon Shops
Illusory Grottos have a higher chance of featuring Dungeon Shops. They are manned by Kecleon and you can purchase & sell items there while inside the dungeon. These shops are also likely to offer Orbs that allow you to access town shops even while inside the dungeon.

How To Spawn An Illusory Grotto
Chance Spawn
Illusory Grottos spawn randomly and their appearance can be confirmed via the destination list. They appear on the top-most part of the list. You may need to clear several jobs or complete dungeons in order to pass days to spawn them.

Illusory Grottos are dungeons that are time-limited and may disappear after a few days, so take advantage of them while they are active!
Illusory Grotto Tips
Better If You Have An Escape Orb
As you will be entering the Illusory Grotto without any goals or jobs, the only other way to escape is to finish the whole dungeon. Although the Pokemon inside these dungeons are easy to beat, bring at least one Escape Orb so you can get out anytime you want to.
Store Your Items First
Before visiting the Illusory Grotto, be sure to visit the Kangaskhan Storage to drop unnecessary items first so that you can carry loot from the dungeon.
