Bring Psychic and Water Pokemon

Bring Psychic and Water Pokemon

Several of the enemies you will encounter in this dungeon will be Poison, Flying, Rock, Ground, and Fire Pokemon. Try to create a team with Psychic and Water Pokemon to make quick work of the enemies you will be facing there.

Recruit Pokemon Along the Way

Alternatively, you might be able to find useful Pokemon in the dungeon to help you with your journey! Some psychic types like Solrock and Lunatone, as well as Water types such as Staryu and Relicanth may be found in the dungeon!

Keep Away From Lava

Keep Away From Lava

Make sure to do your best at avoiding the lava while exploring the dungeon. Unless you are a Fire type, lava will deal damage to you when you walk on it, and it will also apply the Burn status on the Pokemon! Bring some Rawst Berries to heal the status condition.

Try to Make Groudon Flinch

Try to Make Groudon Flinch

Groudon has several moves that can deal massive damage to your team! Your best bet is to make it flinch with moves like Bite in order to make it miss a few turns, and avoid getting attacked!

Keep Track Of Your Pokemon

During the fight, a cataclysm will occur. The ground will shake, moving Pokemon around. Make sure to keep track of your Pokemon's locations so you can strategize how to approach the fight!

Check For Pokemon With Burns

Magma will also start to gush out of the floor. Remember to move your non-fire type Pokemon out of the way as getting burned could make you waste a ton of your Rawst Berries!
