Avoid Lava Pools On Floor

Avoid Lava Pools On Floor

Fiery Field, like Mt. Blaze, will have lava pools on the floor. Avoid walking over them as they deal damage and can inflict Burns if stepped on.

Use Throwables For Ranged Attack

Use Throwables For Ranged Attack

The Pokemon in Fiery Field can be quite tough so it's best to do as much damage as you can, even if you're far away. Equip throwables so your party can cause ranged damage to foes you encounter.

Bring Anti-Burn Items

Rawst Berries will be your best friend in this dungeon. You can also bring a Pokemon with the ability "Refresh" so they can remove any bad status effects inflicted on you by Pokemon attacks or lava pools.

Tips To Defeat Entei

Debuff Entei To Lessen Turns

Using debuffs such as Slow, Petrify, or Sleep will lessen the turns Entei will have. Make sure to use these when you can in order to do more damage in between Entei's turns.

Fire Spin Traps & Damages Pokemon

Fire Spin Traps & Damages Pokemon

Be careful of Entei's Fire Spin attack. It causes Fire damage over time and traps the Pokemon so it can't move. If possible, use ranged moves to attack Entei to avoid Fire Spin.

Roar Moves Pokemon Away

Roar Moves Pokemon Away

When Entei uses Roar, he'll do some damage but will ultimately move Pokemon away. Watch out for this move especially if your lead Pokemon is a close-ranged attacker.

Pressure Drains Move's PP

Pressure Drains Move

Entei's innate Ability "Pressure" causes moves to cost more PP. Bring Max Ethers or Max Elixirs to combat this PP drain.
