How To Get Shiny Pokemon

Encounter "Strong Foe" Pokemon In Dungeons

Strong Foe

To get shiny Pokemon, you first need to encounter one in a mystery dungeon. These are usually marked as "strong foe" Pokemon and are random encounters in the game.

Shiny Pokemon Have High HP

Shiny Pokemon will be hard to defeat & have high HP. Make sure to keep your health up or bring a slew of recruits to help you damage the opponent.

Defeat For Chance To Recruit

When you defeat the shiny Pokemon, there's a chance for you to recruit it. Make sure you're the one that deals the last blow and you're standing adjacent to the Pokemon that you just defeated.

Use Squad Up Or Friend Bow To Increase Chance

Friend Bow

Bring a Pokemon with the Rare Quality "Squad Up" or "Friendly" or have one of your party members have a "Friend Bow" to increase chances of the fallen Pokemon to join your party.
