Ability List & Description

Ability NameDescription
AdaptabilityThis ability increases the power of moves that are the same type as the Pokemon.
AerilateNormal-type moves used by the Pokemon become Flying type and deal more damage.
Air LockThis Ability causes the floor to have Ineffective Weather, removing the effects of weather.
Anger PointIf the Pokemon takes a critical hit, its rage makes its Attack go up sharply!
AnticipationSometimes the Pokemon is able to dodge moves that are super effective against it, as well as one-hit KO moves, such as Fissure.
Arena TrapEnemies next to the Pokemon can't walk. This Ability has no effect on Flying- or Ghost-type Pokemon and Pokemon with the Run Away and Levitate Ability.
Battle ArmorMoves are never critical hits against this Pokemon.
BlazeWhen this Pokemon's HP is low, the power of Fire-type moves goes up.
ChlorophyllWhen the Pokemon uses a move during Sunny weather or in Extremely Harsh Sunlight, it uses the move 2 times at once but only consumes PP for 1 use.
Clear BodyThe Pokemon's Attack, Defense, Sp. Atk, Sp. Def, accuracy and evasiveness won't be lowered.
Cloud NineThis Ability causes the floor to have Ineffective Weather, removing the effects of weather.
Color ChangeWhen it's damaged by a move, the Pokemon changes type to the type of the move that damaged it. The Pokemon will return to its original type when it goes to a different floor.
CompetitiveWhen the Pokemon's stats are lowered, the Pokemon's Sp. Atk goes up sharply.
Compound EyesThe Pokemon's accuracy goes up.
Cursed BodyWhen the Pokemon takes damage from an enemy's move, it sometimes seals the move.
Cute CharmWhen the Pokemon is hit with a contact move, like Tackle or Scratch, the attacker sometimes gets Infatuated.
DampNo moves, traps, or items that cause explosions will work on the floor this Pokemon is on.
Delta StreamThe floor will have Strong Winds.
Desolate LandThe floor will have Extremely Harsh Sunlight.
DownloadThe Pokemon's Attack or Sp. Atk sometimes goes up when the Pokemon uses a move on an enemy. Which one gets raised is based on the enemy's stats.
DrizzleThe weather condition on the floor will be Rain.
DroughtThe weather condition on the floor will be Sunny.
Dry SkinThe Pokemon absorbs Water-type moves to restore its HP. Rain or Heavy Rain helps the Pokemon restore HP naturally more quickly. But the Pokemon doesn't do well when it's Sunny or in Extremely Harsh Sunlight, and it also doesn't do well against Fire-type moves.
Early BirdWhen the Pokemon gets the Sleep, Napping, Yawning, or Nightmare condition, the condition will be healed in fewer turns.
Effect SporeWhen the Pokemon is hit with a contact move, like Tackle or Scratch, the attacker is sometimes afflicted with the Poisoned, Paralysis, or Sleep status condition.
FilterThe Pokemon takes less damage from super effective moves.
Flame BodyWhen the Pokemon is hit with a contact move, like Tackle or Scratch, the attacker can be left with a Burn. This Ability also burns items thrown at the Pokemon.
Flash FireThe Pokemon will absorb Fire-type moves that are used on it, boosting the power of its own Fire-type moves.
ForecastThe Pokemon changes its type depending on the weather. During Sunny weather or Extremely Harsh Sunlight, it changes to Fire type. During Rain or Heavy Rain, it changes to Water type. During Hail, it changes to Ice type.
ForewarnThe locations of Pokemon and items on the floor will become apparent when the Pokemon has the Sleep, Napping, or Nightmare conditions.
FriskWhen the Pokemon attacks an enemy, it will learn the name of the item that the enemy is carrying.
GluttonyWhen the Pokemon eats or drinks an item, some HP will be restored, too!
GutsWhen the Pokemon is affected by a bad status condition, like poison or a burn, the power of its physical moves goes up.
Huge PowerSometimes the power of the Pokemon's physical moves goes up.
HustleThe power of the Pokemon's physical moves goes up, but the accuracy goes down.
HydrationThis Ability heals the Pokemon's bad status conditions, such as being poisoned or paralyzed, when the weather condition is Rain or Heavy Rain.
Hyper CutterThe Pokemon's Attack won't be lowered.
Ice BodyThis Ability helps the Pokemon restore HP naturally more quickly when the weather condition is Hail.
IlluminateIf the Pokemon uses an illuminating move, such as Confuse Ray or Light Screen, the Pokemon will become a Decoy.
ImmunityIt protects the Pokemon from getting Poisoned or Badly Poisoned.
Inner FocusThis Ability protects the Pokemon from the Flinch status condition.
InsomniaThe Pokemon won't get the Sleep, Napping, Yawning, or Nightmare condition.
IntimidateWhen the Pokemon is attacked with a physical move by an enemy next to it, the damage is reduced.
Iron FistThe power of punching moves goes up.
Keen EyeThe Pokemon's accuracy won't be lowered-never ever! The Pokemon won't be affected by an enemy's boosted evasiveness, either.
Leaf GuardThe Pokemon is protected from bad status conditions, such as poison or paralysis, during Sunny weather or in Extremely Harsh Sunlight.
LevitateGround-type moves, such as Magnitude, won't damage the Pokemon.
Lightning RodThe Electric-type moves of enemies in the same room are drawn to the Pokemon and absorbed. When the Pokemon absorbs Electric-type moves, its Sp. Atk goes up.
LimberThis Pokemon is protected from Paralysis.
Liquid OozeWhen the Pokemon is hit by an HP-absorbing move, the Pokemon's HP is not absorbed and the enemy is damaged instead.
Magic BounceThe Pokemon reflects status moves and the effects of wands. Not all moves can be reflected.
Magic GuardThe Pokemon won't take damage from things like the Sandstorm weather condition, Blast Traps, or getting Poisoned.
Magma ArmorThis Ability protects the Pokemon from getting Frozen. It also burns items thrown at the Pokemon.
Magnet PullSteel-type enemies next to the Pokemon can't walk. However, in some special cases, this Ability will have no effect.
Marvel ScaleWhen the Pokemon gets a bad status condition, such as poison or paralysis, its Defense goes up.
Mega LauncherAura Sphere and moves with the "Pulse" in their names becomes more powerful.
MinusIf a teammate in the same room has the Plus or Minus Ability, the Pokemon's Sp. Atk goes up.
Mold BreakerThe Pokemon can deal damage and inflict status conditions on targets regardless of their Abiltiies. For example, this Pokemon can make a Pokemon with the Sturdy Ability faint in one hit!
Motor DriveThe Pokemon absorbs Electric-type moves to raise its Travel Speed.
Natural CureThis Ability sometimes cures every bad status condition the Pokemon has.
No GuardWhen changes to the Pokemon's and its target's accuracy or evasiveness make it more difficult for attacks to land, those changes go away so that the Pokemon can have a fair fight.
NormalizeAll moves used by the Pokemon become Normal type and deal more damage.
ObliviousThe Pokemon won't get Infatuated. Captivated and Taunt don't work on it, either.
OvergrowWhen the Pokemon's HP is low, the power of Grass-type moves goes up.
Own TempoThis Ability protects the Pokemon from getting Confused.
Parental BondKangaskhan and its young will fight together! This Ability can't be changed or sealed.
PickupWhen the Pokemon goes to a different floor, it may pick up an item. However, there will be places where there is nothing for the Pokemon to pick up.
PixilateNormal-type moves used by the Pokemon become Fairy type and deal more damage.
PlusIf a teammate in the same room has the Plus or Minus Ability, the Pokemon's Sp. Atk goes up.
Poison HealThe Pokemon absorbs the damage it would usually take from being Poisoned or Badly Poisoned, instead restoring its own HP.
Poison PointWhen the Pokemon is hit with a contact move, like Tackle or Scratch, the attacker sometimes gets Poisoned.
PranksterWhen the Pokemon uses a status move, it uses it 2 times at once but only consumes PP for 1 use! The move won't work if the target is a Dark-type Pokemon, though.
PressureWhen an enemy uses a move on the Pokemon, the move will cost more PP than usual.
Primordial SeaThe floor will have Heavy Rain.
Pure PowerSometimes the power of the Pokemon's physical moves goes up.
Quick FeetWhen the Pokemon gets a bad status condition, like poison or paralysis, its Travel Speed goes up for a while.
Rain DishThis Ability helps the Pokemon restores HP naturally more quickly when the weather condition is Rain or Heavy Rain.
RecklessThe power of the moves with recoil damage and moves that cause the user to take damage if they fail goes up-but the damage the Pokemon takes also goes up. It has no effect on some moves such as Struggle and Final Gambit.
RefrigerateNormal-type moves used by the Pokemon become Ice type and deal more damage.
RivalryThe POkemon does more damage to targets that share its type.
Rock HeadThe Pokemon won't be hurt when it uses moves that cause recoil damage.
Rough SkinWhen the Pokemon is hit with a contact move, like Tackle or Scratch, the attacker is damaged a little.
Run AwayThe Pokemon won't get Stuck.
Sand ForceThe Pokemon isn't damaged by the Sandstorm weather condition, and the power of its Rock-, Ground-, and Steel-type moves goes up while a sandstorm is in effect.
Sand StreamThe weather condition on the floor will be a Sandstorm.
Sand VeilThe Pokemon isn't damaged by the Sandstorm weather condition, and its evasiveness goes up while a sandstorm is in effect.
ScrappyGhost-type Pokemon can be hit by Normal- and Fighting-type moves.
Serene GraceThe Pokemon's moves are more likely to have additional effects.
Shadow TagEnemies next to the Pokemon can't walk. This Ability has no effect on Ghost-tpye Pokemon and Pokemon with the Run Away or Shadow Tag Ability.
Shed SkinThis Ability sometimes cures every bad status condition the Pokemon has.
Sheer ForceThe power of the Pokemon's moves goes up, bu the additional effects are lost. For example, Crush Claw won't lower the target's Defense anymore, but the move will deal more damage.
Shell ArmorMoves are never critical hits against this Pokemon.
Shield DustThis Ability blocks additional effects when the Pokemon is hit by an attacking move.
SimpleWhen the Pokemon's stats change, the amount they change will be doubled. Any decrease in stats will be doubled, too, so be careful!
Skill LinkWhen the Pokemon uses a multistrike move, such as Pin Missile or Fury Attack, the move always strikes the maximum number of times.
SniperThis Ability increases the damage of moves that result in critical hits.
Snow CloakThe Pokemon isn't damaged by Hail, and hailstorms cause the Pokemon's evasiveness to go up.
Solar PowerDuring Sunny weather or in Extremely Harsh Sunlight, the Pokemon's Sp. Atk goes up sharply,but the Pokemon can't restore its HP naturally and keeps taking damage.
Solid RockThe Pokemon takes less damage from supereffective moves.
SoundproofThe Pokemon is not affected by the effects of moves that use sound, such as Growl or Uproar. But this also blocks those moves when a teammate uses them.
Speed BoostThe Pokemon's Travel Speed Speed goes up sometimes.
StallThe Pokemon ambushes and attacks enemies that approach it.
StaticWhen the Pokemon is hit with a contact move, like Tackle or Scratch, the attacker is sometimes afflicted with Paralysis.
SteadfastWhen the Pokemon gets the Flinch condition, its Travel Speed goes up.
StenchWhen the Pokemon is attacked by an enemy next to it, it sometimes makes the attacker Terrified.
Sticky HoldThe Pokemon won't drop items or have them taken away.
Strong JawMoves using jaws or fangs, such as Bite or Fire Fang, become more powerful.
SturdyIf the Pokemon's HP is full, moves that would defeat the Pokemon instead leave the Pokemon with 1 HP. This is also effective against moves like Fissure that can cause Pokemon to faint with a single hit.
Suction CupsThe Pokemon holds tight and can't be blown away or warped.
Super LuckThe Pokemon's moves have a high critical-hit rate.
SwarmWhen the Pokemon's HP is low, the power of Bug-type moves goes up.
Swift SwimWhen the Pokemon uses a move in Rain or Heavy Rain,it uses the move 2 times at once but only consumes PP for 1 use.
SynchronizeWhen the Pokemon is Poisoned, is Badly Poisoned, has Paralysis, or has a Burn, enemies next to it will get the same status condition.
Tangled FeetWhen the Pokemon is Confused, its evasiveness goes up sharply.
TechnicianWhen the Pokemon uses moves with very low power, those moves do more damage.
Thick FatThe Pokemon takes less damage from Fire and Ice-type moves.
Tinted LensIf the Pokemon uses a move that is not very effective, the move's power goes up.
TorrentWhen the Pokemon's HP is low, the power of Water-type moves goes up.
Tough ClawsContact moves, such as Take Down and Scratch, become more powerful.
TraceThe Pokemon copies the Ability of a Pokemon that uses a move against it. The Pokemon can copy the Ability of an enemy or teammate. The effects last until the Pokemon goes to a different floor.
TruantWhen the Pokemon uses a move, it will get the Truant condition. Also, if an enemy Pokemon is next to a sleeping Pokemon with this Ability, the enemy will sometimes get the Yawning condition.
Vital SpiritThe Pokemon is protected from Sleep, Napping, Yawning, and Nightmare conditions.
Volt AbsorbThe Pokemon absorbs Electric-type moves to restore its HP.
Water AbsorbThe Pokemon absorbs Water-type moves to restore its HP.
Water VeilThis Ability protects the Pokemon from getting a Burn.
White SmokeThe Pokemon's Attack, Defense, Sp. Atk, Sp. Def, accuracy, and evasiveness won't be lowered.
Wonder GuardThe Pokemon takes no damage from attacks or moves that are not super effective-but it takes damage from other things, such as weather and traps.

 Abilities are passive buffs that can affect the Pokemon itself, its target, and sometimes even its environment. Each Pokemon has a certain trait that can be taken advantaged of when exploring dungeons.

In order to trigger the effect of some Abilities, their conditions must be met first. For example, certain weather conditions must first be present before an Ability takes effect. Make sure to read your Pokemon's description to maximize its potential!

Each Specie Has A Set Ability

Each Specie has the same ability

Each Pokemon specie has a specific set ability. This means that it doesn't change despite capturing the same Pokemon. Rare Quality, however, varies and is something to consider if you want to add that Pokemon into your team.
