| 1 | After fighting Zangetsu, you'll receive his katana the Zangetsuto |
| 2 | Head back to the Oriental Sorcery Lab fast travel point and warp to the Hall of Termination |
| 3 | Exit the room and head to the middle right room |
| 4 | Head up the stairs and into the right room to fight Gebel |
vs. Gebel Boss Fight Tips
Equip Zangetsuto When Fighting Gebel
When you're facing off with Gebel, make sure to equip the Zangetsuto during the fight. This is needed for you to get the best ending in the game.
Slash At Moon With Zangetsuto When It's Red
Once you've done enough damage on Gebel, the moon in the room will turn red. You need to jump and slash it while Zangetsuto is equipped to get the cutscene to defeat Gebel. This leads to the good ending in Bloodstained.
Jump Behind Gebel When He Summons Ice
When Gebel starts summoning bluish white symbols in front of him, he'll be sending ice missiles your way. Jump over him to avoid the missiles and attack him from behind.
Gebel Slams You When He Jumps
When Gebel jumps towards you and ends up hitting you, he'll grab you and slam you into the ground. Be careful of this move as this can do really heavy damage on your HP bar.
Summons Vertical Lightning Streaks
Gebel will summon vertical lightning streaks but will stay in position during this attack. Attack him with long-ranged moves and keep your distance to keep from getting damaged.
Shoots Fireball That Explodes In Small Area
When you see Gebel conjure a red glyph in front of him, he'll shoot out a small fireball that will explode in a small circular area. Move away from the fireball so you won't get hit by its Area-of-Effect damage.
