Almost Everything In The Game Is Replayable
Revisit Previously Discovered Areas
When playing Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night, you may come across areas where some items are out of reach, or are blocked by an obstacle. You will be able to revisit these areas later as many times as you want!

Enemies will respawn once you revisit an area. Due to this, you can keep on coming back to a certain room to farm for XP, money, and even farm Shards from those enemies!
Secret Room Bosses Are Replayable
There are some bosses that will require certain items such as the Warhorse Key to access their rooms. These Bosses can be replayed when you visit their room again!
Blue Chests Restock Items
After a certain time has passed, blue chests will restock their items, and allow you to open them again. This is useful when you need some more crafting materials to craft new weapons, upgrade Shards, and more!
Replay The Story In New Game Plus
Once you beat the story, you can continue exploring the huge world map, or do everything all over again in a New Game Plus Mode. In this mode, you carry over your items, except the ones mainly used for progression.
Points You Cannot Return To
Bosses Do Not Respawn
Story Mission Bosses will not respawn when revisiting their room. You will only be able to fight them once during your playthrough. You can however face them again when starting a new game plus, or in the Boss Rush Mode.
Items Sold To Dominique Are Half The Price
Remember to be careful when buying items from Dominique's shop. Selling back unwanted items that you have bought from her will only net you a fraction of its original price.
Shards Cannot Be Bought Back
Make sure that you do not need the Shards that you sell to Dominique. You will not be able to buy those Shards back. However, you can farm specific enemies to get those Shards back!
Side Quests Cannot Be Replayed
Completed Side Quests from the NPCs in Arvantville will be grayed out and cannot be replayed. You cannot replay them unless you start a new game or when replaying the game in New Game Plus.
Certain Stat Boosts Are Permanent
Gaining stat increases from leveling up, eating food, and collecting items that increase Max HP & ammo capacity are permanent. Once your stats are increased this way, you will not be able to level them down.
You Only Get Food Bonuses Once
Eating a new food will give you permanent buffs to your stats. However, this bonus is only given once. Eating the food again will not give a permanent increase to your stats. Food that you've already eaten will have a Spoon and Fork icon.
