Recommended Tactics & Uses

"Any Combo" For Left Tactic Is Recommended

For the left section "Any Combo" is recommended. By setting it to Any Combo, both of the two types of Combos will be connected. This is a good tactic for beginners who are not yet used to the combos and controls of the game.Combo Guide - Effects & Combos Explained

"Focus Attacks" (Up Tactic) Should Always Be Turned On

The tactic on up should always be turned on. Especially when fighting strong enemies, it is necessary to kill weak monsters first to reduce their numbers, or to kill monsters with low HP or waiting for heals.

"Follow Leader" (Down Tactic) Will Be Rarely Used

Since the lower button, Follow Leader, is used to gather teammates around you. It will also prevent your companions from attacking. Basically, the lower button should rarely be used, as it only has disadvantages.

Used By Healers

Keep in mind that the tactics of Follow Leader can be used when using Arts as a Healer, which heals the surrounding companions.

Other Tactics Note

Do Not Forget To Turn Off Follow Leader

Once you turn on the Follow Leader option, your party members will continue to gather around you unless you cancel it. Be careful not to forget to cancel the Follow Leader, because your allies will not attack at all.
