A Gray Matter - How To Unlock & Rewards
Unlocks When You Travel To Northeast Cliffs Of Kamos Guidepost

You can receive the order for A Gray Matter when you go to the cliffs located northeast of Kamos Guidepost in Aetia Region. When the quest is active, an area is marked with '?' that can be seen on the map. Head to the marked location to proceed.
Wall Climbing Is Required
To be able to get on the cliff and reach the marked location, you need to climb using Wall Climbing. This traversal skill becomes available by completing "The Kind Right Hand" quest. In case Wall Climbing is not available, prioritize finishing "The Kind Right Hand" quest first then proceed with this quest afterward.

A Gray Matter - Walkthrough
- Go to the cliff northeast of Kamos Guidepost
└ Two battles between a Mysterious Man & Keves Soldiers - Go to the destination mark around the cliff area
- Follow the footprints on the ground to proceed
└ Even if the footsteps stop, continue in the same direction until it reappears - Fight the Keves Soldiers at the end and the quest is cleared.
Keep Going Even If The Footprints Are Interrupted
There are places where the footprints do not appear on the path as you follow it. In those cases, continue heading the same direction, the footprints are going to emerge again so continue to go straight without hesitation even if there are no footprints.
