There Are Time-Limited Quests

There are time-limited quests in Xenoblade Chronicles 3. Though it is currently under verification, receiving quests as the story progresses → complete them is the basic idea of this game. Even if you miss any quest, you can still receive it on the second playthrough.

All Quests and Hero Quests List

Containers Can Only Be Collected Once

Containers scattered in the field cannot be collected again. See the location of the containers from the mini-map that is available in-game. Take note of recovered container as it may be useless.

The Rewards Received By Skirmishes

The Skirmish Rewards can be received for the first time only. Take a close look at these rewards before you pick up the side. Nopon Coin is usually the best choice for Skirmish Rewards, but if the Affinity Points you might receive is a large number, they are also worth to consider.

The Level Cannot Be Lowered

Note that the level can't be lowered once you raised it on the first playthrough. The Bonus EXP cannot be restored once distributed. Since the function to lower the level would be available once you beat the game, you can proceed without worrying about it.

Soul Tree Cannot Be Reverted

Soul Tree is a content that cannot be reverted back. The SPs that can be used for Soul Tree are limited so be careful and note the SPs that you allocate for Soul Tree.

Cannot Review Dialogue With Character

It would be unable to replay once you skip the dialogue with character except the cutscenes. Only cut scenes can be played in “EVENTS THEATER” of the title screen without limits.

Ether Cylinders

The Ether Channel needed to create Ether Cylinders cannot be restored once it is taken. Also, you can only have up to 99 Ether Cylinders, and any more than that will be sold automatically. Finely check the number of ether cylinders in the upper right corner of the menu, which can be opened with the X button.

Gold Nopon Coins

Gem Crafting

Gemstone can only be obtained from unique monsters and containers. It is unlikely that there will be a shortage of gems, as they are only used for gem crafting. But still not suggest that you release Gems without thoughts.

Soul Point For Soul Tree

The SPs required to release Soul Tree can be obtained from "Containers", "Unique Monsters", "Discovering Landmarks" and "Quests". All of them can be obtained only once per place so be careful when using SP.

Points That You Can Return

Some of the points that seem irreversible actually can be undone.

Hero Left Your Party

As the story progresses, the heroes who was unlocked in Chapter 3 will leave your party temporarily. Note that they might not return if the particular condition is not satisfied.

Change Mio's Hairstyle

You will be asked to choose whether Mio's hairstyle should be short or long in Chapter 6. However, you can change the hairstyle at any time in "Menu>System>Options>Game Settings>Select Mio's hairstyle".

What To Do When You Made A Mistake?

Return To The Last Data Saved

If the mistake done is impossible to redo, you can do a rollback by returning to the previous saved data. In some cases, you may need to rollback to have a smooth and enjoyable gaming experience so keep saving your progress frequently.

Play The Game Through New Game Plus

All the missable contents mentioned above can be played by playing the game the second time through from New Game+. If you are thinking of playing the New Game+, you do not need to worry about the missable contents.
