The EXP & gold that can be obtained when defeating an enemy does not increase or decrease in any difficulty. You can also play by reducing the difficulty level to easily earn EXP when raising the level of your characters.
Difficulty Can Always Be Changed
The level of difficulty may always be adjusted using the in-game settings. You can lower the difficulty level if you are having problems progressing or leveling if it is too difficult.
Recommended Difficulty Setting
Easy If You Want To Enjoy The Story
If you just want to enjoy the story, we recommend that you proceed on Easy, which is the easiest level of combat. Compared to other difficulty levels, you are less likely to get stuck, and you can move ahead quickly and easily.
Hard If You Want Some Challenge In Battle
The enemies are overwhelmingly strong on Hard, and it is difficult to conquer them unless you have a good understanding of the battle system and master the various elements. If you want to enjoy Xenoblade Chronicles 3's battles to the fullest, choose Hard.
