Ptooie & Piranha Plant Guide
Enemy Info
You'll come across 3 Piranha Plants in the Spring of Jungle Mist during the Green Streamer. This battle can be a 3-wave fight, or you can take each wave on separately with a break, letting you choose your difficulty.
Overview Of Tips
- Equip the Silver Guard Plus or Gold Guard Plus
- Pay Toads or use Mushrooms if your health gets low
- Use Shiny Hammer or better - don't jump!
- Don't hit the central flower if you want to avoid a wave battle
Don't Jump On Ptooies
Jumping on Ptooies will indeed get rid of their ball, but it won't deal damage to them. The Hammer, on the other hand, will deal damage and remove the ball. If possible, try to line up Ptooies in a 2x2 formation! Also, make sure to use a high level hammer!

If you take on the middle flower, you'll engage in a 3-wave fight. This means that your HP will likely be getting low by the 2nd or 3rd wave. Don't forget to use HP recovery items or summon Toads to help you at this point!
Avoid The Wave Battle If You're Struggling
If you can't handle the 3 battles in a row, don't worry - you can avoid the wave battle with the Piranha Flowers by defeating two Piranha Flowers on the side.

List Of Accessories

| Gold Guard Plus | Reduces the amount of damage you take in battle by a ton. |
| Gold Heart Plus | Raises your HP a ton during battle. |
| Silver Guard Plus | Reduces the amount of damage you take in battle by a lot. |
| Silver Heart Plus | Raises your HP a lot during battle. |
| Ally Tambourine | Raises attack power for all of your allies a little. |
Having at least the Silver items will be crucial here - they can bought at the Shroom City Accessory Shop. The Gold ones are in the Shangri-spa shop, which can be unlocked at the beginning of Shangri-Spa, near Bowser's castle. Check the link below for details.
