| Lamination Suit | Turns you invisible, making it harder for enemies to spot you. Be careful not to give yourself away by bumping into anyone! - Visit Sensor Lab in Picnic Road after reaching Scorchin Sandpaper Sensor Lab |
| Hidden Block Unhider | Points you towards any hidden blocks in the area. The signal will grow stronger as you get closer. |
| Boot Whistle | You can use this to summon the Boot Car. It'll help you zip across the desert in a jiffy! |
| Fire Flower | Use this to throw fireballs at enemies in a straight line. - Throw in Faded Fire Flower into lake in Whispering Woods |
| Tail | Whip a 2x2 block of enemies. Press A as you swing your tail to deal extra damage. Time it just right to get an Excellent rating! Won't reach flying enemies, but deals more damager than hammer attacks. - Shogun Studios |
| Pow Block | This item attacks all enemies and leaves them stunned. Press A as you hit the block to cause more damage. Time it just right to get an Excellent rating! Won't affect floating enemies. |

Use Appropriate Item Depending On Enemy's Formation
Items will have differing areas of effect, hitting enemies in different ways. Line up enemies according to the item you want to use to make the most out of it!
Some Items Have Special Effects
Some items not only deal damage to enemies but also have additional effects. For example, the Pow Block flips over all enemies on the stage and stuns them!
