By heading to Scuffle Island you can take part in a battle gauntlet that is repeatable and gives you a lot of gold. The first time rewards are particularly appealing, so it's highly recommended you do this at least once. This zone is found in the Purple Streamer area!

The Coin Step Counter

Accessory Shop

Another way of getting a consistent stream of Gold Income is to use the Coin Step Counter. This is an Accessory which you'll need to equip. It can be purchased in the Bonehead Island accessory shop. Every 10,000 steps you take will give you 10,000 coins!

Battle Enemies To Earn Coins

There are a variety of ways to get coins. The best way to earn coins fast is simply to battle enemies and get high clear bonuses. Try to line up enemies perfectly and defeat them all without getting hit to maximize the bonus! Also, you get a few coins each time you attack an enemy as well.

Hitting question boxes along the way will give you lot of coins, and sometimes even useful items! The downside to this method is that the number of such blocks is fundamentally limited, so you will run out.

If you want to avoid battles, another good way to earn coins is to fill Not-Bottomless Holes with Confetti. The larger the hole is, the more coins you get. These are also limited, however, so be careful.

Uses Of Coins

Get Toads' Help In Battle

By choosing the "Cheer" command during the battle, you can get help from Toads. Toads help you by damaging enemies and giving you hearts to heal your HP. Use this carefully, because you can end up spending a lot of coins.

Using Cheer In Boss Battles

The effect of "Cheer" changes during boss battles. Toads will place helpful icons on the battlefield, and they will also show you a good route to the boss in red dots before you make an action.

Extend Your Thinking Time

If you need extra time to solve the puzzle in front of you, you can use coins to extend your turn time and give yourself some room to think!

Use To Buy Items & Equipment

Items

The coins you get can be used to buy items, accessories and weapons at shops as well. These shops are located not only in Toad Town, but the rest of the world as well. Make sure to seek them out!
