Mini Game - How To Get The Trophy
One of the 15 Trophies available in this game requires you to complete the mission without missing a single coin. This will basically require you to memorize the path you're going, so you can move in that direction well ahead of time. Failure to do so will result in you bumping your boat and losing a heart/coins.
Be Careful of Falling Rocks, Whirlpools
Falling rocks and whirlpools will appear in specific parts of the rapids. They're trickier to maneuver around because they appear suddenly. It's best to check their location in the rapids first before steering the boat.
Aim To Get Hearts For The Boat
It's pretty easy to get your boat damaged during the ride. When you see a heart that's not out of your way, make sure to get it for added life for your boat!
Watch Out For The Whirlpool Coins
Towards the end of the gauntlet you'll come across a whirlpool with some coins along the edge. To get these, start from very top and then go around the southern edge of the whirlpool. Afterwards, make sure you end up on the north part of the river near the logs, as there are some coins there. This part might take several tries to get right, so have patience.
