In-Game Quiz Show
When you reach the Spring of Rainbows, you will have to participate in a quiz show called Shy Guys Finish Last. In order to reach Bowser's castle, you'll need to come out on top here!
Answer Questions In Different Categories
There are 4 categories with 3 levels each. Tap or click each category to see the detailed solutions below.

| 4 | ↓ Bath Math | Guess how many Goombas are in the hot spring |

Ring Scramble
Level 1

Level 1 can be completed entirely by turning rings - you won't have to slide tiles in and out whatsoever. You'll have 4 moves to solve this.
Level 2

You'll have 7 moves to solve the level 2 puzzle.

Try to focus on aligning the buildings and tower first. You'll have 6 moves to get this in place.
Race 'n' Place
Competitors And Ranking Are Random
From the tests we've done on multiple game files, it seems that both the racers and the final result are random each time. This means there won't be any way to easily do this. However, we do recommend taking a screenshot at the end and consulting it before you make your decision.
Ninji Skills
Ninji Patterns Are Random
There are many possible variants for Ninji Skills puzzles in each level. The following images are just a few examples we encountered.
Level 1
You'll need to keep track of 1 Ninji out of 5 characters. Compared to higher levels, the puzzle moves relatively slowly.
Level 2
This time you need to keep track of 2 Ninjis. It might feel silly but if you're having trouble, try using your fingers to follow along with the two Ninji boxes on the screen!
Level 3
There are more Ninjis than other characters in this level. The puzzle gets much easier if you just keep track of the non-Ninji characters instead!
Bath Math
Bath Math Goomba Number Is Random
The number of Goombas in each category appears to be random. This means we can't really show you the right answer. However, there is one easy method to solve level 1 and 2: take a screenshot right before the round ends. For a brief moment you'll get to see all the Goombas in the hot spring. Take your time in the Switch menu and count the Goombas before answering!

If you choose to take on the sudden death challenge, you can get the collectible treasure Sudden Death Cannon.

After you've beaten the Sudden Death mode once and gotten the collectible treasure, the reward for clearing it again will change to 3000 coins.
Get The Quiz Master Trophy For Clearing A Perfect Game
Once you've beaten Shy Guys Finish Last once, you can try to go for a Perfect Game. By completing all 12 games without missing any of them, you'll be awarded the Quiz Master trophy.
When going for a Perfect Game, be sure to remember all 3 Sudden Death answers beforehand, since you still have to answer a Sudden Death question after completing 12 games.
