Walkthrough Chart To Reach Vah Medoh

1	Go to Rito Village.
2	Go to the top of the village and talk to Kaneli.
3	Talk to Saki in the room next to Kaneli. *Trigger a flashback.
4	Head north-northwest from Rito Village to Flight Range.
5	Have a conversation with Teba. *Cold Resistance Level 2 is required from here
6	Complete Rito's training. After completion, you can get the Falcon Bow from the treasure chest and the Remote Bomb Bow x20 from Teba.
7	Destroy the four cannons in Divine Beast Vah Medoh. ▼See below for how to destroy cannons

Steps to Complete the Right Wing

Step	Details
	Go straight from the entrance and get the map.
	Go down to the bottom floor and proceed to the exit without Malice.
	Tilt down Vah Medoh's wings on the map screen.
	After defeating Malice with arrows, use paraglider to get into the room under the right wing.
	Proceed to the room on the right wing and activate Terminal 1.
	Activate the switch in the next room to bring in the wind inside the dungeon.
	After capturing the propeller-equipped metal box on the ceiling with Magnesis, tilt Vah Medoh wings up on the map screen.
	Start Terminal 2 at the end of the opened door.
	Return to the central room and proceed to the left wing section.

Steps to Complete the Left Wing

Step	Details
	Activate the switch to let the wind into the dungeon and climb the slope on the right side of the image.
	After defeating Malice, catch an updraft with the Paraglider and activate Terminal 3.
	Tilt up Vah Medoh's wings on the map screen.
	Throw the Spherical Remote Bomb into the hole and destroy the obstacles in two places. There is also an obstacle at the left back of the image.
	Tilt Vah Medoh's wings downward on the map screen and move the rolling iron ball to the position of the image.
	Tilt Vah Medoh's wings up again and the iron ball will push the switch to open the door. Activate Terminal 4 on the left side of the room and tilt Vah Medoh's wings to its horizontal position on the map screen.
	Go back to the central room. With Vah Medoh's wings tilted up, paraglider through the exit on the lower floor where Malice is.
	Paraglider to the room at the left wing tip and activate Terminal 5.
	Tilt Vah Medoh's wings up and fly with the Paraglider to the location circled in the image. Get to the roof using the updraft that occurs after defeating Malice. ▶See how to defeat Windblight Ganon

Before Entering Vah Medoh Walkthrough

Buy Cold-Resistant Clothings At Rito Village

In Rito Village, you can buy a set of cold-resistant armor. Cold resistance is essential before and inside Vah Medoh, so prepare as much as possible here. Cold resistance can also be done with cooking, but it'd be better to aginst the cold using the armor rather than the food with a limited duration.

Requires 2150 Rupees To Complete An Armor Set

To buy all the armor, you will need 2150 Rupees, which is a lot of Rupees. If you don't have enough, sell ores or play mini games to earn Rupees. Equipping any two of the three armor is enough to reach the minimum cold resistance, so you don't have to buy three.

Prepare Bow and Arrows For the Flight Range

In Flight Range, after speaking with Teba, you will be challenged to shoot the targets of the Rito's training. Bow and arrows are required for this training. You can find 10 arrows where Teba is, but if you're not confident in your skills, prepare more.

Time Slows Down When You Hold the Bow In the Air

The basic combo revolves around the repetition of getting close to the target with an updraft → then shooting an arrow with a bow → adjusting your position with the Paraglider. Holding the Bow in the air reduces the Stamina Wheel, but slows down the time. You have plenty of time to spare, so don't rush and aim for the target.

Use the Paraglider To Refill Stamina

Stamina will be restored when Paraglider is opened while riding an updraft. Keep this mechanism in mind and focus on the shooting without worring.

How To Destroy the 4 cannons In Vah Medoh

If you head up to the sky with Teba, you will need to destroy four of Vah Medoh's cannons, so equip yourself with a Bomb Arrow. We recommend the Falcon Bow, which is good at long-range shooting.

Approach the Cannons On All Sides With the Paraglider

The cannons are located at the four ends of Vah Medoh. It is possible to snipe from a distance, but it is more reliable to get close with the Paraglider before shooting.

The Cannon Can Be Destroyed With Two Bomb Arrows

The cannon can be destroyed with two Bomb Arrow shots. Just use the 20 Bomb Arrows Teba gave you right before the event. Although damage can be done with regular arrows and swords, it is recommended to use a Bomb Arrow.

The Map Is Located Straight From the Entrance

To activate the Terminal, the first thing you need to do is get the map so that you can control the tilt of Vah Medoh. Once inside Vah Medoh, go straight and get the map.

Defeat Malice With Arrows or Bombs

Touching the Malice (purple objects) at various locations will cause damage. The malice with eyeballs on the tip can be destroyed by arrows or Remote Bombs. Destroy nearby malice with Remote Bombs and distant ones with arrows.

Build A Foothold With Magnesis To Cross The Other Side

The easiest way to cross to the other side is to move footholds with the Magnesis. Move the boards with the Magnesis so that Link can proceed and cross to the other side.

Note That There Is One Guardian

Note that there is a Guardian with Spear at the end of the path you cross. The HP is not that high, if you have Stasis +, you can use it to take him down safely.

Steps To Activate Vah Medoh Terminal 1

Go To the Lower Floor of the Right Wing and Get On the Gondola

First, go to the lower floor of Vah Medoh's right wing and take the gondola. Malice is in the back, so shoot the eyeballs with arrows to take him down.

Tilt Vah Medoh Down

Tilt Vah Medoh down to move the gondola. Activate the terminal at the destination. From there you can head to the location of terminal 2, but if you want to return to the original location you may take the gondola again.

Steps To Activate Vah Medoh Terminal 2

Step 3 to 5 above can be skipped by using Stasis. With the wing of Vah Medoh being horizontal, open the door by pulling the propeller with Magnesis. Then hit the switch with Stasis repeatedly till you can press it.

Note that this method reduces the durability of the weapon.

Activate the Switch To Let Wind Out

First, activate the switch to let the wind rotate the propeller. One of the two propellers changes position depending on the tilt of Vah Medoh, you'll have to fix its position in the end.

Tilt Vah Medoh Down To Move the Hammer To the Edge

Here, you need to use something like a hammer as a weight to press the orange glowing switch. If the hammer is not placed exactly on the right position, the weight will not be enough to activate the switch, so first tilt Vah Medoh down and bring the hammer to the edge.

Tilt Vah Medoh Up While Holding the Propeller In Place With the Magnesis

Once the hammer is moved to the edge, fix one of the propellers with the Magnesis. Then tilt Vah Medoh up and wait for the hammer to fall to activate the switch. Activate the terminal at the end of the door that opens.

Steps To Activate Vah Medoh Terminal 3

Head To The Left Wing Using The Paraglider

The entrance to the left wing is located slightly high. You can get to the left wing by flying with the Paraglider from the right wing with Vah Medoh tilted up, or by flying from the slope in the center where the treasure chest is located.

Activate the Switch To Generate Wind

Activate the switch to generate wind. At the same time, please also defeat Malice blocking the terminal. Since enemies will spring up from this Malice's eyeballs, it'd be better to destroy it with arrows as soon as possible.

Fly With the Paraglider Above the Switch

Use the Paraglider from the foothold above the switch and ride the wind to the terminal. At this point, it is easier if Vah Medoh is horizontal, not tilted.

Steps To Activate Vah Medoh Terminal 4

Put the Bombs In the Hole To Destroy Two Locations

First, tilt Vah Medoh upward in the room where the terminal 3 is. Then put the Spherical Remote Bomb into the small hole next to the switch to destroy the rock.

Tilt Vah Medoh Down To Move the Iron Ball

After destroying the rock with the Spherical Remote Bomb, an iron ball will appear. To grab this iron ball with Magnesis, tilt Vah Medoh down and pull it towards Link.

Place the Iron Ball On the Rail of the Switch Extension

Grab the iron ball with the Magnesis when it comes near. Move to the right and carry it to the rail on the extension of the switch at the back. Then tilt Vah Medoh upward to activate the switch and the door will open.

Steps To Activate Vah Medoh Terminal 5

Go To the Lower Floor of the Left Wing

The terminal 5 is on the lower floor, so head down first. When heading from the center, you need to go out from the right wing side once and turn around. You can defeat Malice from the outside.

Tilt Vah Medoh Up and Fly with the Paraglider

With Vah Medoh tilted up, jump from the foothold and use the Paraglider to head up to the terminal. It may look out of reach at first glance, but no need to worry. Tilt Vah Medoh down when you go back.

Inside Treasure Chests

1：Right Behind The Entrance

At the entrance to Vah Medoh, turn around and you will find a treasure chest. Malice is nearby, it'd be easier if you defeat him first.

2：On the High Stage You Can Find As Soon As You Enter

As soon as you enter through the entrance, you will see a treasure chest in front of you. Use the Paraglider through the updrafts to catch the ladder.

3：Treasure Chest Visible Just Under Position 2

If you look down from the high stage where the second treasure chest is, you will see the third treasure chest right in front of you.

4：It Appears When Malice In The Bottom Center Floor Is Destroyed

One floor below position 3, there is a place where a Malice is attached to the ground. Defeat it to get the treasure chest.

5：Ceiling In the Room of Terminal 2

Defeat the Malice, who is attached to the ceiling of the room of Terminal 2 , a treasure chest will fall down. Keep Vah Medoh horizontal so the chest won't roll away.

6：The High Stage In the Room of Terminal 2

It is recommended to get it after unlocking the gimmick in the room of Terminal 2. Vah Medoh would be tilted upward after unlocking, so you can continue to use the uprafts with the Paraglider to reach the high stage.

7：The High Stage In the Room of Terminal 3

In the room of Terminal 3, with Vah Medoh tilted up, you can reach this high stage by moving from the foothold with the Paraglider.

8：Vah Medoh's Beak

There is a treasure chest at the tip of Vah Medoh's beak. There are several ways to get here, one example below.

Fly from either the left or right updraft, closest to the terminal on the roof, and land on the top of Vah Medoh's eyeball (blackened part). Go straight from there to the tip of the beak. To return, fly towards the updrafts you see below.

Windblight Ganon Boss

The boss in the image is Windblight Ganon. Make good use of the updrafts and aim at weak points with arrows while dodging his attacks.
