Be Careful If You Are Riding A Horse

Be careful if you are riding a Horse

If Link is struck by lightning while riding a Horse, the Horse he is riding will also be struck by lightning. Even if you're Unshockable, your Horse will take damage, so be careful.

Avoid Getting Damaged By Removing Metal Equipment

Remove metal equipment

▲Wearing metal equipment can make Link susceptible to electric shocks or lightning.

Link can be shocked from lighting or electricity when wearing metal equipment. If you don't have an unshockable armor equipped, take off your metal armor, as you can prevent lightning from hitting you by removing your metal armor.

Go Under A Building Or Big Tree

Enter under a building or a large tree

When avoiding getting struck with electrical energy, take cover beneath a sturdy structure or towering tree to avoid getting further damaged by lightning bolts. As long as there is a barrier between you and the sky, such as a protrusion on a cliff, it is sufficient to use as a cover. However, take note if trees are small, lightning can directly hit the tree and cause lightning to fall in the surrounding area and might cause damage.

Shock Effects

Damage + Electric Shock To The Surrounding Area Where It Falls

Damage around the fallen area

The area where the lightning strikes will receive damage regardless of whether it is an enemy or an ally, and you will be electrocuted. If you don't have enough Hearts, you'll die in one hit, so be careful. If a thunderstorm strikes during battle, equip Unshockable equipment to gain an advantage.

Electric Shock Can Be Prevented By Cooking Foods With Shock Resistance

The lightning damage itself cannot be prevented, but the electric shock effect can be prevented with electric cooking. This is useful when you don't have Unshockable gear, as you won't drop your weapon.

It Also Has The Effect Of Burning Grass

It also has the effect of burning grass

The heat of the lightning burns the grass around the area struck by lightning. If you stay in place, you will take damage, so be careful.

Related To Shrine Quest

The shrine quest "A Song of Storms" can be cleared using lightning. The shrine is surrounded by rocks, so if you place a metal weapon on top of the rock and wait for lightning to strike, the shrine will appear.
