The only place to store weapons and other equipment is in Link's House, which can be purchased from Bolson for 30 Wood and 3,000 Rupees in the Side Quest "Hylian Homeowner"
Can Store Up To 3 Weapons, Bows, & Shields Each
You can store up to 3 weapons, 3 bows, and 3 shields at Link's House. You cannot store more than 3 weapons, bows, and shields at a time, so you will need to expand your inventory.
Inventory Space Expansion - How To Increase & Add SlotsAt First You Can Only Store One Weapon
Immediately after you buy the house, you will only have one weapon stand. To increase the number you can store, you will need to have additional stands created by Bolson. Note that each one costs 100 Rupees to create.
Equipment Will Disappear If Placed In A Random Place
If you leave equipment randomly inside the house, it will disappear when you warp away. So to keep your equipment place them on a stand.

The stands can be used as decorations in addition to being storage units. Most equipment can be reacquired, and equipment with limited availability is not essential. Therefore, you can decide what equipment you want to store according to your preferences.
