As you progress through the game, the type of Lynels that appear can change. Once you have defeated all four Divine Beasts, most Lynels, except for those in certain areas, will become Silver Lynels. If you are looking to collect weapons, be cautious of this change.
Lynel Will Always Appear At Ploymus Mountain
Regardless of the game progress, an ordinary Lynel appears at Ploymus Mountain, east of Zora's Domain, from the beginning to the end without any changes.

Lynel Walkthrough Strategy
Health | 2,000 |

Weakness | Head |
Prepare To Equip Yourself With Sufficient Weapons
Regular Lynels have a staggering health pool of 2000. Given that weapons used in combat will inevitably break, it's highly recommended to prepare plenty of weapons beforehand.
Best Weapons & ArmorFocus On Defense If You Are Not Aiming For Flurry Rush
To effectively fight Lynels, it's crucial to master the fundamental tactic of aiming for a Flurry Rush through well-timed dodges on specific attacks such as the two-handed sword and shield swings. Nevertheless, for those hard-to-dodge attacks, it's crucial to focus on evading them effectively.
Don't Run Away To The Top Of A Rock Or In The Air
When Lynels determine that normal attacks won't reach them, they will ready their bows and shoot Shock Arrows (3-5 rounds) at you. In particular, the shock arrows fired from above have a very high hit rate, so it's important to prevent Lynel from wielding its bow.
Dash To Escape The Fireball Attack
When Lynel takes some distance, he may spew flames three times in a row from his mouth. Put the weapon, run in a circle around Lynel and escape.
The Updraft After The Flame Is A Bow Arrow Chance
If the grass catches fire after a fireball attack, an updraft may occur, which can be used as an opportunity for mid-air shooting. If a headshot is successful, the Lynel will flinch and kneel, allowing for a chance to mount and attack.
Attacking While Mounted Doesn't Deplete Your Weapons
Landing repeated Y button attacks while riding a Lynel allows for dealing damage without depleting the weapon's durability. However, be mindful of the Stamina Wheel as it drains while riding, so avoid exhausting it completely.
