②	Return to base and release the captured Pokemon └You can also sell the item if you need money.
③	Return to the village and repeat step 1

The most efficient way to obtain Grit Items is by capturing Pokemon then releasing them after. Note that the Grit Items you will get will depend on the Pokemon level you release. With that said, try to catch higher-level Pokemon.

There's a low chance of obtaining Grit Items by capturing or defeating Pokemon as well. This is a great way to farm Grit Items as you can raise your party's level while also possibly obtaining items. Note that the chance of obtaining Grit Items lowers when you use an Alpha Pokemon in battle.

Can Be Exchanged At Training Grounds

Grit Items can also be obtained by speaking with Zisu located in Jubilife Village Training Grounds. But it is hard to exchange since you will also need Grit Items in order to obtain a higher grade.
