Practice Combat Against a Bot

Inside the Training Area, you can freely use weapon attacks, Deathblows, Skills, and more. A Bot spawns automatically when you enter, and it will respawn even after being defeated, ideal for practicing combos and move setups.
Test New Weapons Safely

Whenever you obtain a new weapon during Exploration, try out its attack range and moveset in the Training Area first. Exploration has time limits and enemy threats, so avoid switching to unfamiliar weapons mid‑run.
Practice Guard Timing and Counterattacks

If you use Guard in front of the bot, it will attack after approximately two seconds. Use this timing to practice Counterattacks, especially the Sealed Portrait’s Normal Attack (Counter), since it requires precise input just before the attack lands.

At the back of the Training Area, you’ll find a television that plays short InfoCast programs. These add flavor and entertainment while you train.
