Sealed Portrait - Strengths and Weaknesses
How to Use Sealed Portraits
The Sealed Portrait can only perform counterattacks. To use it effectively, you must learn enemy attack patterns, timings and punish accordingly. Keep in mind that the “Counter Attack+” perk does not apply to normal attacks.
Sealed Portrait's Normal Attack
Pressing the attack button raises the portrait for a short duration. If it's struck while glowing, it automatically triggers a counterattack, allowing you to retaliate without taking damage. This move can also counter enemy Guard Breaks, but you need to get the timing right.
Sealed Portrait's Deathblow
After raising the portrait, tentacles emerges from the portrait and lashes forwards, striking enemies in front of you.
Sealed Portrait's Counterattack
The Sealed Portrait's Counterattack is nearly identical to its normal attack, but with a single tentacle emerging to strike. As with other counterattacks, you’ll take slight chip damage when guarding before the retaliation connects.
