How to Beat Ripper and Nocent Ripper
Normal Attacks Can Be Counterattacked
When it swings its left arm back, it's about to use a Normal Attack. There's a slight delay before the attack comes out, so you can get your attack in first by quickly getting close and using a Normal Attack. Also, if you Guard the Normal Attack, you can strike back with a Counterattack.
For Guard Breaks, Keep Your Distance or Attack Immediately
After it moves its right-hand scissors and its body glows red, a Guard Break is coming. It’s a 2-hit combo, so either back away or evade to the Ripper’s side. Be careful, as the second hit has strong propulsion and can quickly close distance. If you’re close enough, you can also interrupt the attack by hitting it.
How to Beat Carver and Nocent Carver
Aim to Counterattack the 2-Hit Normal Attack
The Carver’s Normal Attack is a 2-hit combo, with the second hit involving a large forward lunge, so don’t let your guard down even at a distance. The attack is easy to block, making it a good opportunity to counterattack. Note that the Carver may sometimes skip the second hit of its Normal Attack.
Keep Your Distance When a Purple Aura Appears
If a purple aura appears around the Carver’s body, it indicates an incoming bomb attack. The bomb will stop after getting very close to a Raider for a short time or after homing in for a set duration. Once it stops, it will glow red and explode after about 3 seconds, so be sure to move away as soon as it stops moving.
Lure Enemies into Bombs for One-Hit Kills
If you catch an enemy in the bomb's explosion, you can destroy its Exoskeleton in a single hit. If you have the chance, guide the bomb near an enemy (including the Carver that launched it) and catch them in the blast.
How to Defeat the Shredder
Beware of Counterattack
If you attack it while it's guarding with its arms crossed, it will hit you with a Counterattack. Use Guard Breaks or attack from a distance to avoid taking damage from counterattacks.
Move Away When Purple Splash Appears
If purple splashes appear from the Shredder's body, an Area attack will follow immediately. Either attack it quickly to stop the area attacks, or quickly move away to evade.
