The Evil Rod is a very slow‑starting weapon with unique properties. Its delayed activation makes it harder to use, but it can unleash attacks that other weapons cannot. Best used in combination with a faster weapon in your off hand.
Evil Rod - Strengths and Weaknesses
How to Use the Evil Rod
It takes about 1.2 to 1.3 seconds from pressing the attack button until the strike hits, so you need to predict enemy movement and attack patterns. Because of this, the Evil Rod is best used as a weapon for advanced players. Always pair it with another weapon in your off‑hand to cover its weaknesses.
Evil Rod's Normal Attack
The normal attack hits enemies in front of you and applies "Judgment". Landing multiple hits in quick succession triggers the Judgment effect, dealing fixed bonus damage to the marked target and nearby enemies. You can also walk while charging, giving you some mobility during its setup.
Evil Rod's Deathblow
This weapon's Deathblow launches a Spirit forward. If it collides with an enemy or wall, it explodes, activating Judgment in the area and dealing extra damage. The Spirit’s range is long, so you can use it for surprise attacks from a position where the enemy won't notice you.
Evil Rod's Counterattack
Performs a Counterattack that applies "Judgment" to the target.
