How to Perform Guard Breaks
Press Attack Buttons Simultaneously (Dual Wield)
With weapons in both hands, perform a Guard Break by pressing R1+L1 (controller) or right-click + left-click (keyboard/mouse).
Guard Breaks Require Two Weapons
Guard Break needs weapons in both hands, so equip a weapon to your empty hand when picking one up.
Benefits of Guard Breaks
Stagger Guarding Enemies
A successful Guard Break instantly staggers guarding enemies (except bosses). While staggered, enemies remain vulnerable until their gauge refills, making Guard Breaks ideal against Humanoids and other frequent blockers.
Animation Changes by Weapon Combo
